Lol. I'm not cleaning multiple rigs multiple times a day. I'll gladly fork over the $12 I paid for that bottle. If I have to spend another $12 in 3 or 4 months, oh well I suppose, hopefully I can keep the power on.

I'm exaggerating. But seriously a penny saved is a penny earned. 800% markup is outrageous, like a completely fucking insane markup. I'm sure you, and others, were unaware of this fact.

I usually use Methylated Spirits + Salt, because iso is more expensive where i live, and metho is pure alcohol anyway with stuff added to stop you drinking it, and i always thoroughly rinse it afterwards.
And it usually works really well, but lately ive wanted to get it back to brand new, but have failed....

I have tried the following methods today and nothing has worked
Soaking in boiling hot soapy water, in between Metho + salt washed
Acetone and salt

Is there anything i havent tried, or should i just resign to the fact that it will never be clean

*Note: Before anyone posts and comments, I know how to use and dispose of these chemicals safely, as well as rinsing the bong thoroughly afterwards, and have studied chemistry at University level
And yes i am sure it was full strength, i poured some on a piece of wood and washed it off seconds later with water, and it had stripped the color

iso and sea salt dash of table salt

the iso needs to be 91% or better it will clear anything with time
u go out of town u need to clean your pipe to bring with u .......glass is the simplest

iso with the largest grain of salt u can find and a dash of fine table salt ......tho the pipe in a plastic bag add this seal it shake it up let it set 2 mins shake again sit 5 mins shake it again pull out ....dip into iso with nothing then run cold water over it leave out to dry

to get the last of it out when u dump the bong add in a cup of iso to strip the left over from the dumping and then clean that out with water ....if anything is left just a rag with a dab of iso
