Has any of you wise owls on here used/using a tornado mdf fan?

Looking to dial in my tent in jan because even now my temps are high due to freakish mild weather so plants/yield are suffering..

Already had some good advice on fan but wanted to ask if anyone has one, want to run 2 600w hps lights in 2x2m tent without the constant heat worry.

Thinking of buying a 1500 m3 tornado fan and a contoller that adjusts it by temperature...any thoughts on this folks?

I'm no good with fans but are you in soil?

Yeah always grown in soil because its more forgiving for mistakes etc

Hello all, another brit grower here. Only just started growing cannabis. I have a question regarding the law in our country.

Is 1 huge plant looked at the same as 1 small plant in the eyes of our laws? E.g. if i had a cupboard full of say 6 small plants would i get in more trouble then having 1 huge plant?

Im not 100% sure but i think it goes on the amount of plants u have rather than size, thats why most do a scrogg instead of sog..

Police always seem to bullshit anyway, 10 plants with street value of £35000 etc...fkn wish my 10 plants was worth that much lol

Too true, ive lost count of the amount of times ive heard police refer to the leaf as the smoking substance as opposed to the flowers... Its laughable that our government knows so little about a plant they deem illegal. Oh to live in Colorado or another state which allows the cultivation of medicinal/ recreational marijuana.

everyone does it lol, Cameron was a pot head, Obama was a choom gang member, I sell to an oxford undergrad says everyone smokes or vapes it cos of the stress of the workload and they like mine the best cos its clean, and they turn down schwag from street shotters lol, these fukkers are studying medicine and law etc and are choosing weed over booze these days and most want some for their dad cos they were all smoking in the 80s but don't know dealers cos theyre stiffs, its all gunna change....but are we gunna be fukked by big corporations....?

It's why I would like for everyone to grow their own, it's cheep unless you wanna be stupid to buy all the expensive stuff.... when you can do very good with just simple cheap soil and nutes.

Growing mj is easy if you think simple. But if you read books on how to do things that's when your best off buying of street dealers.

That is just purely my opinionI bet some will say I'm wrong and AN and pro mix soil is the way forward lol.

I said that about the big corporations to the man i supply the other day, he gave over cash and said 'see crime pays' i replied its might be illegal but who does it really hurt, its not fkn burglary,or assault pensioners etc but once they legalise it then some big corp will jump on it and thats most people screwed

One of my brothers from another mother grows and he cannot work due to his previouses he has to grow for living wich I understand we do what we gotta do,

Point is greed these days is the main issue of mankind and we allways want more...

I could sell but then when I run out I will have to buy, or grow more... See the problem.

But if we all did it there would not be a single problem apart from the show offs with big donkey Kong cola lmao.

In my case save 100 bean every week, more than enuff to invest into a legitimate business, wich I is because I like to make money and clean money that I have bank statement to show where it's from.

Investment is the way forward

Ive heard tomato feed is good for flower and baby bio for veg? My first grow is going to be on a bit of a shoestring budget lol.

You don't want legislation there! Oh no! What you need is decriminalisation. Trust me, I live in a grey area where the police told me I should grow at home, as opposed to buying in a weed club and bringing it home. 'If you only knew' I thought to myself.

Legislation means a taxable business. You wanna pay tax and have them control and take revenue? No, not really.

Over here there is NO TAX on tobacco or alcohol so how would they make the people pay tax on weed? Can't be done.

What you need over there is medical licensing to start with and decriminalisation. At least that would give people the right to grow there own without penalty.

What's the m3/hour on your fan now? My friend is doing really well (22c high) with an 800m3/h PrimaKlima and we are about to add a second light. The room is 3 x 2 x 2.5. Not huge. If sound is an issue then look at these box fans. One sister is sleeping next door to the grow room and isnt bothered by the noise. It's not too loud.

This is all what I use

Soil mg root boost potting mix, no perlite needed.

Field marshal blooming nute £7
Pk 13/14£5
Magne cal + £15
Raw organic forest honey £4


I don't need no vegg nutes, but if needed I have a grow sure all rounder that I use for outdoors veggies in summer. The soil is rich for three weeks and I repot every three weeks lol.

The most costly thing of my setup is light, soil and water I buy tesco water, and honey I do a small mix for plants and the rest me and kids demolish lmao.

It's that good I haven't had a ph pen and still rocking it.

Just recently found original box it came in and its only about 520 m3/h..didnt really think about this when i started but now understand i need a stronger fan to remove heat, the tent is a 2x2x2m and im going to run a max of 2 600 hps lights if possible, just been unable too due to temps.

Also thinking of getting sms heat controller so fan hasn't got to run on full power all the time, noise is not much of an issue thankfully

Green air products make a fan speed controller. It's good, I've used it but as you know I also use air con and it doesnt really match it. It has a humidity 'microphone' which you hang at canopy and you also combine it with the radiator and fan.

500m3/hour is just for a small tent. It's ok for a veg tent and smaller stuff. We both need bigger fans!! Lol
