I like the way u are holding that fan on there, and the hole for the wires.
Flowers are chunking up nicely
Thanks man:) I think the thing I like most is that the entire light can be dis/re-assembled without any tools:)

Well, I'm heading out of town on Wednesday, so I thought I'd get you all some better pics of the Bodhi Tree of Life since she is starting to frost up nicely :) She smells so good! Sort of a lemony smell I guess. I really hope nothing happens to her when I'm gone:

Here's a closer shot of a top:

I also got this pic of the Tangerine Dream(just ignore those terrible looking leaves ;) )
TD.jpg
She'll be nice and ripe when I chop her down on Saturday after I get home!

P.S. Don't Forget The Cookies And Milk For Santa :peace:
Thanks a lot, The Dawg! That ToL sure is a winner...I'm already thinking about germinating more seeds-I've got a whole pack of regs:) And I know the TD looks rough, but she looks like she will provide some real quality buds!

Hello fellow RIU peoples:)

Looks like everyone in the garden survived. Sure sucks just reading the site and wondering what's going on in the garden, so I'm glad to be home. I put the TangiexGTH#1 in place of the Blue Cheese after chopping her down(front left); she'll basically be 13/11 from seed like the Bodhi girl.

Looks like I'll get about 25g from the Blue Cheese...not much, but better than nothing:) I chopped half the plant Tuesday night, and after four days of drying, it's about 10 grams..uncured is decent mid grade smoke. I'm chopping down the Tangerine Dream tomorrow...we'll see how the smoke is! I'm looking forward to trying it out.

The Dr. Grinspoon is really taking off (back right corner); she probably doubled in size already! She was nice and bendy, so I kind of did a mainline before I left(tho not really a 'mainlining') and let the inner branches really take off as new canopy. She's not really flowering yet, just growing so far, but she has shown sex. I'm guessing that she'll start to make some flowers in about a week with more substantial growth in between now and then. Probably mid April harvest...we'll see!

I have the temperature controller hooked up for the veg tent and it looks like it works well, so hopefully this perpetual thing will go a bit more smoothly......

Here's a pic of the garden (got some tips on the Bodhi Tree of Life, dang it!!! And a little wind damage from the fan, but that's no biggie, imo):

And here's the Tangerine Dream before I chop her tomorrow(geez, she really looks terrible, surprised she even grew!):

Best wishes to everyone for the new year!!

Hey mc hope you enjoyed your holidays. Stop posting shit like this, now I have both of these on my never ending seed list! Beautiful looking plants, even being "damaged" and all ;) Enjoy, nice timing on the harvests!

Hey bro I grew both Barney's BC and TD and that BC never produced much for me. Got one in the Veg cab atm but if she doesn't perk up I'm gonna scrap her. I grew a TD for 16 weeks once and she produced copius amounts of some ugly ass bud but I was using Blackstars back then and would love another try at her now since I really did enjoy the smoke. She was also very fussy and when she was done she looked like a mugging victim after running back to back marathons but still produced some OK sativa like smoke. In other words yours looks a lot nicer than mine did so don't worry. :)
Happy New Year MC!

@GroErr @FranJan Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the kind words:) You were right too, things with the Tangerine Dream weren't so bad after all. Got right around two ounces out of her!

Here's a mid-week update on the garden:) The veg tent is finally doing okay with the addition of the temperature controller, but there's not really a lot to see there right now-just the first female Tangie finally recovering from weeks of cold. (No pic of that mess, hah!)

The flower tent is still coming along; You can see the Bodhi Tree of life in the back left, Crockett's Tangie in the middle, Liberty Haze in the front right, Tangie-GTH#1 in the front left, and check out how big the Dr. Grinspoon is getting in the back right:

The Tangerine Dream is some really good smoke. I wish I were better at describing flavors and smells, but all I can say is that I have a very high tolerance and the TD gets me pretty stoned. To me, it just smells like some really dank buds, even without a cure. Here's a pic:

Here's a pic of the Blue Cheese. Like I said earlier, it's some good mid grade smoke:

The TD looks super hairy, and they both look really dank :eyesmoke:
Haha, yeah man, dang cat hairs....but she's still good company ;)

Ooh, I'm excited for this growing/smoking year! Gonna be some more Grinspoon, and Liberty Haze, some Tangie, couple Bodhi strains... all kinds of good stuff! Then, I just ordered some Dynasty Genetics Honey Badger Haze and Elemental Seeds Honey Bananas...just a coincidence on the names; I guess I get on a roll, idk, hah. Lot's of tangie in the names lately too...... I'm hesitant to grow a strain with "nanner" in the name, but we'll try one or two out! (actually I got 4, lol- just in case I like it I can have it around for a while)

yep, you're right, they smoke just fine ;) For some reason some plants are more sensitive to the nutrients than others. Liberty Haze (from BF as well) is similar...probably not a coincidence. I'm glad that cannabis is a strong plant and it will do whatever it can to make the flowers!! Ive actually never smoked the northern lights.

Unique smell and taste, its used as a base for lots of strains.

Northern Lights is one of three fundamental breeding strains that have changed the face of global cannabis culture over the last three decades. Apart from Skunk #1 and Haze, no variety comes close to matching Northern Lights’ influence on the world of weed. Whether you’re a smoker, a grower or a breeder, it's more than likely this strain has had a direct effect on your understanding of ganja. Virtually every cannabis enthusiast has, at the very least, had their day brightened by a fat bud of Northern Lights or one of her hybrid descendants. As far back as the Eighties, Northern Lights was setting the standard by which other Indicas are still judged and she remains one of the most trusted names and sought-after varieties in modern cannabis culture. For many years, Northern Lights dominated the various harvest festivals, winning cup after cup, leading to a more than one request that she be retired from competition in order to allow other strains a shot at the title.
