Current culture U.C roots did I get the right thing?

So excited finally got a inline fan and carbon filter today. Whilr I was in my hydro store I was explaining to the salesman that when I use my nutrients which are Soul synthetics. That on my last resevoir change I brought up my ppm so I am using a little more then my last tez change. What I am concerned about is the fact that my nutrients are thick and dark. I do a hell of a job mixing everything in a 18 gallon tote when I ad the mixture to my system, well my roots are covered in the nutes.
My concern is that if the nutrients are sticking to the roots will it basically be like over fertilizing.
Anyway the guy recommended that I use Current culture uc roots. After bringing it home read the instru tions and I am a little confused... is this stuff supose to be added to my res with my nutes or is just to clean my RDWC. Inbetween uses..
And also will this stuff clear up the roots. Which is basically what I was looking for or those the build up of nutes on the roots not effect them.

Ucroots is for root maintance. You use it throughout the grow.

What nutrients you using, what system, dwc?

I am using aurora's soul synthetics line.
Currently using the... Grow, Infinity, and I was using the grow-n.......didnt use it this rez change. I am running 4 3.5 gallon buckets and and I have a 5 gallon as my res, the system is a RDWC.

Now I am bugging out a little bit I guess my own fault. But I have been doing exactly what the guys at my hydro store says to do.
I told them I was running a rdwc and soul synthetics was the line they recommended, so I bought it.
Should I stop using it. I am 3 weeks i to veg, is it to late to switch nutes, and if it is to late since I do have bennies in the mix should I stop using UC roots.

If organics and dwc dont work well together then why did they recommend a nutrient with organics in it. I should have done my own research on the nutes..
Since I have organics should I stop using the UC root.

My girls seem to be doing fine till my last res change where I upted the ppm from 350 to 550. I started seeing what I thought was n tox and signs of calcium defiency.
The calcium defiency i noticed before the res change its the curling in of the leaves and rich green color on a few leaves
I am using a fraction of the recommended dosage. Once I did my res change and upted the nutes that when I noticed the color of the roots changing.
Once I noticed that the girls where hurti g I emptied out the rez and cleaned everything up and brought the ppm down to 350 and didnt use the grow-N.
That was 2 days ago and they allrwady seem to be coming back

UCroots is calcium hydrochloride, its used as a sterilizing agent. I would suggest as Terry has said, however don't stop the UCroots until you have the tea ready as it looks like your keeping any pathogen outbreak at bay.

If you can source the skunklabs tea then go that route, your need to act pretty fast as the deficiency is onset of other issues regarding the roots.

your want to flush the system after you use the h202 as that will kill the bennies.

Regards the hydro store, you can run organics in hydro. But it is difficult, as it does not play nice in DWC and pretty much always ends in issues. Always do your own research, always ask here and search the forums.

PLEASE keep us posted, some more pics etc and we will get you through this and your have happy ladies again.

Sorry If my question sound juvinelle but I want to make sure I do this right. I really enjoy growing and I want to have it done better.
Now I did want to let you know I believe the brown on my roots is the actual nutrients I am using. The nutes are thick and dark. There is absolutely no smell that would tell me sometgings wrong.
There is no slime or muck on the roots. they just simply are getting covered in nutes.
The hydro store told me if I used this stuff it would clear the roots of the exceaa nutes on them. But If the uc roots would kill the beneficial bacteria then using the uc roots isnt the right move.
Are the nutes that are attached to the roots going to get obsorded at higher concentrations causing damage.
I do not have a water chiller but on average with 2 litre water bottles and scheduled changea of the water bottles I can keep the tenps in the water around 68.
Again sorry I juat want you guys to understand what I am trying to explain and making sure I understand what you guys are saying.

Took over a year to get it going DWC easy now with skunklabs made for dwc look at feed chart can't get eraser good prices too

Ok so spent all last night reading up and watching videos. Very interested in what I saw. When i get home today I will be ordering the tea and their veg a and b.

So lets see if i understand correctly. I want to clean my system and roots of any left over nutrients and beneficials.
I understand how to clean my system what and how do you recommened i clean all the excess nutes on the roots with out damaging them.?

just h202 cleans up roots air bubbles hits the roots say let run 6 hrs.or you see white roots dump out..rinse off roots with water start at week 3 on feed chart i use 2 oz a gal. of tea

i'v read of people using bleach i never used tho to clean roots

ok so i get home.... l get to my shopping cart on amazon gave it to the wife and she turned down my plans( for now) I just bought my inline fan and filter that was 200 and Christmas. so its gonna have to wait till atleast early next week.
So This is what i did last night
Empty and clean my system. Wipe everything down. Boil my air stones. I was able to get about 80 to 90 percent of the excessive nutrients off the roots. So I did that to all the plants. Fill system up with R.O. water, 150 ppm of Botanicare Cal-Mag ➕ and 20 ml of the U.C Root. Till early next when i will do the root assist and do as you guys recommended. I have included pics of the roots before and after. Roots came out clean. Pics make them look yellowish brown but they are actually whiter then in pics.
I also took pics out of grow tent in full light

The roots look damaged, the root assist will hopefully donthe trick.

Make sure that you brew the tea exactly as they show. The water is free from any chlorine and is at the correct temperature when brewing. Around 80oF.

Please keep the pics and the process logged here so we can keep helping.
