Hang the whole plant upside down and move a little air around it. Wait about five days or until theyre nice and dry and cut em up branch by branch and manicure. Save the good trim for extracts and seal the bud into a tight container, anything from a jar to a cooler will work. If theres no moisture that comes back then rehydrate with some water. Just get any kind of cup and put some crumpled up paper towels in it that are damp. Re moisten the paper towel daily if you need to. This method (dry trim) will give you the best smell. Theres other methods like wet trimming, and removing the buds and using a machine trimmer and then drying in screen style racks too, but i like the dry trim the best. Lots of people opt for wet trim and they too think they get the best product that way.

Whatever you do just wait until theyre nice and dry and container them up, then watch they dont get too damp. Just open the container every now and then to burp it. Usually it takes about two weeks from chop to done and ready to smoke.
