How obvious is an outdoor grow?

Has anyone had any success growing maybe 1 cannabis plant outdoors on some farm land? I have quite a few acres I could grow cannabis in. However I've never pulled the trigger. Thoughts?

Hell yes thanks for the reply's I'm fortunate enough to have 5,000 acres that is pretty much secluded from everyone.... So it's perfect In all honesty... I'll grow one and start a journal. My thing is... I want this sucker to be hugeeeee I got my indoor plants to get 7ft tall.... I just don't know what I'll do outdoors now.... I wanna go big or not at all... Why I asked how obvious it was lol

I've done a couple plants here and there outdoors without issue. Avoid the obvious like making trails walking the same way when checking them and leaving trash that'll catch someone's eye. 5000 privately owned acres could fit a lot of plants spread out a couple here and there.

Well it's a family owned farm... With that said I've gotta hide it from the family. Although they don't care I grow indoors. But it shouldn't be to hard we do have a few acres of crp. I just know this thing is going to look like another tree... So trying to figure out where to put this tree.

Weed is very easily trained. It doesn't have to look like a weed plant if you don't want it to. Train it to look like a rhododendron and put it in denser foliage.

Also helps if you cut off the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and stick it in the ground. Protects the roots from invaders until they can dig deeper and hold their own.

you da texas boy i just saw?

if so here's what i got...
ive grown in navarro county sort of area. around corsicana and dallas.
where i have 10,000 acres.
i got "caught" in like...07? after almost a decade
chopper fly over, pretty sure first and only...blamed some ranch hands :/ sorry hombre

ive grown on the outskirts of midland, towards big spring.
where i also have a huge chunk of land. never a hiccup. in 2010 or '11 about a thousand acres burned..common.. anyway i thiught that would make good soil, it did. but there is some HEAVY contrast between burnt mesquite trees, ashy earth and bright cannabis...still never a prob.

so i would say from experience even if yu grow quite a bit your chances are near zero of getting caught.

if family is the biggest concern.. ive had alot of luck planting in october to have lots of small plants.

good luck.
and if yiu aint from texas.. F you man.. lol jk

Look up Fresian duck.... doesn't even look like weed.... Plant your weed in and around blackberry vines if you have them.... be careful, too many plants and you get busted could have that 5K acres tied up in court.

I was born in Odessa so your getting close. Not going to say exactly where it is... Well you know why haha. But yes I am from tx. And man the only reason I haven't grown on our farm land because... One year a friend decided to grow a "few" plants in the middle of his corn field... Well he got busted quick... Was crazy

ya ya, im more comfortable cause i moved indoors in 2012. after the "12 months of no measurable rainfall" and 100 days over a 100° in 2011
plus that ash i mentioned blew all on my buds. break one down and get black fingers. almost a total loss.
2011 was a tough year for me.

just be smart, with alot of land especially in that area... try and grow where people dont go. or where machines definitely dont go idk. thats on you

ive had lots of luck growing out reggie or mex weed. sativas in general obviously
anyway good luck

Overhead surveillance checks for 2 basic things: the COLOR and the round shape from above. You can't do anything about the color but you can tie them over so they do not have that Christmas tree shape from above. Cops are NOT using FLIR or anything else looking for little grows.

Only thing that worries me is there is always so many choppers flying over my area when I was doing my indoor grow...

I am going to raise 2 of these this summer, my Northern lights and my white widow did super last summer but it sure looked like weed! LOL... I live where it's legal to grow but still worry about thieves.
I have 5 acres in the country but when the neighboring farmers are harvesting their help could see my plants.
A friend grew Fresian dew last year and was really good smoke... Fresian duck should be also.
