actually if there are plenty of terps in the air iecitronella and a variety of mints) then the plants will chose the terps that are present in the terpene profile of the strain. Just what I have observed when messing with terps. Maybe the OP is picking up on the added quercitin when smoking the juice buds. Quercitin is found in grapes and red wine. But changing the color with the juice would have to be the dyes if it actually works I have some redish dark purple buds on some autoflowers that almost died from gnats I got in a bag of soil that was left outside for months. Never gave them anything they just some bright colors.

Didn't have good air circulation so the soil stayed moist too long. the lights kept the medium warm making it the perfect place for the gnats to lay eggs. I didn't know what the problem was at the time so I spent money on all kinds of shit to get rid of them not knowing that my problem was simple.... better air circulation. Lost like 10 or 12 plants. The pic I'm using NOW is a plant with gnat larva on it....lol.

I'm not sure if this is general knowledge, but my last grow was my first grow. I ran into a few speed bumps, but ended up coming out with 18 oz. In the last 6-7 days of Bloom, my heater shitted out without us knowing for 2-3 days. The result was buds with a slightly purple tint. After returning the heater, the purple seemed to disappear - until we realized (after the harvest) that the purple was only INSIDE of the bud.

Made for great bag appeal, people called it Grave Digger because of it's color scheme.
This was cheese quake, btw. Not purple by nature.

I didn't capture any non micro pics , but the two that look like the same picture is actually me changing my focus range. The green focused more on the outside, while the purple focused more on the inside. Same bud. Pretty tight.

Most of you guyz just come here to read. You know nothing about growing. All you know is what you read because you never grew no more than 4 or 5 plants. Try 65 to 100 plants then come back and tell me what you've learned. I know it works because I've grown more than 100 plants at one time and there's nothing like hands on experience.

Lol, ya got me - I've only read about growing & have no hands on knowledge.

But I do know what Fungus Gnats look like & how to deal with them unlike the "Pro's" apparently.

10F+ drop in night time temps enhance natural strain coloring.....15F does better and you can do it by supplementing the K too.

Supplementing K for color can be done after transplanting to pots from solo's. Start with as much as 3 points more and go to six points at week 4 of bloom...Every other watering.

Over a 15 deg drop, the plant will begin getting lower yields starting with loose buds.

Yeah , I can freeze the fuck out of my plants (cut off the heat for the last two weeks and viola purple/red buds) and get them to ALL to turn purple too. Cut flowers take up some color its true. Florists do this to WHITE flowers because it doesn't work well or at all with colored flowers especially dark green sorry my guy
