I have been running a dehumidifier for about a week now.........collected water is usually thrown out to other plants............I've heard different opinions on watering with recycled dehuey water..........i gave it to a plant for the first time today this morning and now looking at it in the late afternoon.....well it doesn't look happy.......could someone clarify if the water is ok to give plants.......the water Ph'd at 8.0 and I adjusted it to 6.8 with bloom nutes.........your opinions are greatly appreciated..........

I think it Could be iffy since you used bloom nutes why not just use ph Down other that that I think it would be fine but I never tried it

its just water from the air . yes the water is safe. if you machine was clean you could drink the water . not suggested . but in an emergency situation drink away. just ph the water first 6.5 ish soil

If your dehumidifier is clean the water should be too. I have been giving it to my plants for years without issues. It comes out 3 ppms so you should be giving cal mag as well but a single watering should not make your plant unhappy. You could have overwatered or have bad drainage or some other issue but I doubt adding distilled water hurt your plant unless you've got a dirty sump which btw can easily be cleaned with bleach & vinegar.

the runoff water is 8.0...........i usually add a little bloom nutes to water which changes PH.........then adjust with PH down............after putting a tsp per gallon of bloom nutes......PH went to 6.8.......then i used it to water..........
