I have 2 chambers both 27"h×9"d×21"w. Could I put 4 cxa2530 in each chamber, and be able to dimmable. So ts roughly 40-50w/sqft.
Would an hlg 185 700b with 143v output or around that be sufficient for each chamber?

Wired three vero29 in parallel to a hlg185h 48b. No dimmer installed. First one vero went then another started to go. You could see the sparking etc. All wired perfect. All cables same.length. I'm figuring thermal runaway. Not entirely sure what started the cascade but happens after being on for only 30-40seconds. Oh well. Learned that I probably won't wire in parallel again.

maybe the first cob that failed was faulty or way outta spec. you didn't by chance check the Vf for each cob before wiring them together ? I have heard its helpful to bin the cobs and use multiple cobs in series to even out differences in Vf.

Mouser is okish. Free shipping but u have to pay vat

Sometimes

https://m.reichelt.de/index.html?&ACTION=446&LA=3&SID=13Vp6-AawQATUAABajBo48db5a59f49eafd13922dad8664f291f1

Sometimes
Gets the b version

But why not just use
Elg driver?
Mouser is out of stock and pretty expensive. Reichelt has the best prices I was able to find but unfortunately only A versions. ELGs are the second option but I'd prefer HLG because of 200W and slightly higher efficiency.

They don't have anything in stock, everything is going on backorder with 4 weeks lead time.

 are you located at the top of Mount Everest?
Nah, central Europe:) Well 10 HLG-185H weigh more than 10kg. That's not very cheap to send across the ocean.

Hi alesh,

Here are 3 possibilities you might like to explore :

1) I got 12x ELG -150-c from COOLCEEN, for USD33.5/pc (after being quoted 23.5$, and having payed the PI, so not so happy at first). Received in about 7 days.
Just pretend this is a 1st small order, as I think they usually sell 100pcs min. (but will send "samples" in the perspective of selling more later)

I don't know if they also have HLGs, but you can ask :

E-mail: Elaine@coolceen.com
Website:coolceen.en.alibaba.com

2) Dericsson's Lillian Jin gave me the following quote, but I didn't pull the trigger over there, so cannot give any feedback.

3) Didn't go through with this one either, but it might interest you :

(ABOUT HLG 185H-C700B) : "The fob price is $49.18/pcs for 5pcs sample demand, and the fob price is $41.47/pcs for 100~199pcs demand,if you order bulk quantity,i will provide you more discount.

The shipping cost is $56 to <<my european country>> by UPS,with door to door services.

If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

Best regards, "

Hope this helps,
Take care.

Thanks. Fortunately Jerry has some back in stock so I ordered from him ($50 a piece). I probably could have saved a few bucks buying from another company but I've got good experience with him so I went this way.

Looking for help, I bought a mw 185-1400 with 4 vero 29. This was before the excellent charted work done here. I decided to run an vero 18 in the series with 3 of the vero 29s. Anyone see a problem with this? On firing up on a cold heatsink, I get only 120v @1.4a- 168w, I was hoping for the full 143v to get 200w.
Will watts increase as it warms?
Also, when using a multimeter to test individual LEDs what damage should I be aware of or avoid?
Thank you!
