Growing outdoors, how often do u think I would have to water 15 galon smart pot? Could I get by with once a week if I mulch top and really soak them good?

Probably FF soil. Midwest climate. Just wondering because I'm not going to be able to get out spot every day.

In Midwest in summer..plant in ground, they will get cooked in a pot and cooked faster in smart pot if you can't get out there every other day.

15 gallons? Really, they wouldn't make it more than every other day? Smart pot after extensive research is the coolest container you can plant in.

Ya man I was watering everyday in 45s, they got too big for the pots and were just drinking it up everyday on hot days it would be 4 gallons in the am and 4 at night.

Plant in the ground if your trying to get the longest time in between waterings

I been growing outdoors in Midwest for many years.. Even in the ground they need 15-20 gallons a week in late july and august when its 90° plus daily. I'm not a fan of growing in pots outdoors unless its in your yard. They dry out real fast when its hot out. They stand out too, a plant in the ground is harder to notice.
