(...)Grey market goods are legal, non-counterfeit goods sold outside normal distribution channels by entities which may have no relationship with the producer of the goods. This form of parallel import frequently occurs when the price of an item is significantly higher in one country than another. ( <= BIG FAT LIE .Totally BS .Nowdays, multinational companies are establishing " same pricing " policies ,in order to avoid grey market *) This commonly takes place with electronic equipment such as cameras. Entrepreneurs buy the product where it is available cheaply, often at retail but sometimes at wholesale, and import it legally to the target market. They then sell it at a price high enough to provide a profit but under the normal market price. International efforts to promote free trade, including reduced tariffs and harmonised national standards, facilitate this form of arbitrage whenever manufacturers attempt to preserve highly disparate pricing. Because of the nature of grey markets, it is difficult or impossible to track the precise numbers of grey market sales. Grey market goods are often new, but some grey market goods are used goods. A market in used goods is sometimes nicknamed a green market. (...)

* LIDL super-markets are one of the few exceptions of the rule ...
Different prices for same goods ,all across EU countries ..:P
But they say it's due to different tax regulations and shipping fees, for each country .

The only way to guarantee anything is to buy from an authorized seller.

Uncle Jerry has not bent a knee and been tapped on either shoulder with Chuck Swoboda's dingaling so you'll never know for certain if you got the true sCree ish.

Does someone have a source for cheap drivers in the states then? No backpedaling. Ill go with the cheapest available as I always have. I was very opposed to Jerry at first if you dont remember GG707, but he did earn my business. When I am ready to purchase, if Cutter has what I need for cheaper, then I would definitely go with him. Just dont use the "Cree Pricing" as a fault of Jerry as Cutter (as well as whoever else is doing it) can get shafted too by Cree.

If someone has a source for drivers cheap in the states, bring it on by all means. Jerry charges an extra $20 to ship drivers when ordering COBS from him. The cheapest Ive seen is about $59+shipping in the states. When I bought 2 way back when from Jameco, they were I think $62+shipping. Jerry is $9.50/piece cheaper and shipping was about the same either way.

So far, cheapest I could find for 2 drivers was $116.58 + $7.95 ship. I think Jerry is at $52 per driver now + $20 ship when ordered with cobs. So Jerry @ $124 or from the states is $124.53. No reason to make it difficult and order from 2 places just to pay the same amount. Also, if you order more than just a couple, Jerry's pricing becomes better. @ 2 drivers, they are the same price. Every driver, just add $6 to stateside pricing.
Dont forget paypal fees, unless he doesnt ask for them anymore.
I paid $40 for shipping of 6 cobs, its my fault for paying it though.
