woah bro, hold up
your plant has pink overlay syndrome.

take photos of plants in natural light please its hard to tell anything when all we see is pink, or hps vertical lines.

your plant doesnt look healthy i can see some spots and other signs on the leaves themselves but cant say for sure because of the pink color.

yes you messed up on your topping, good thing plants are resilient im sure it will make it

It's 3 weeks old from after sprouting. I was told that I should top it from a grower near me. Looks like I need to start taking advice from others who know what they are doing.

deff too small, it doesnt have any actual top to be topped, why i gave the grow weed easy tutorial
plant will live tho

could you imagine if plants died just from ripping a leaf off... we'd have no trees in school yards that for sure! :P
That's how I was my first grow very anxious. And annoying as you well know lol. Yes we all have pulled a leaf or two.

ya damn helicopter parents

honestly the best advice i can give is, dont treat your pot plants like faberge eggs , they are plants i know they seem more delicate cause you spend more money on them but they are just plants
resilient in nature

honestly grow some basil or like a tomato plant if you can too, it will help you ease into growing

Funny part about that is I grow tomatoes and lettuce and all outside in the summer time up here. This is my first time growing inside and trying my hand at cannabis.

If ur a noob i would just let her grow naturally.
Topping is for advanced growers.
But if you still whant to top u have to let her grow about 7-8 nodes so about 5th or 6th week.
Then top her at 5-6th node you could go lower but more time for her to recover.
U can tank me later noob bongsmilie

Topping is for anyone as long as it's done right.

I top at the 5th node usually. That's around 2 weeks. It's a grower/plant preference thing.

Uncle Bens topping technique in the advanced marijuana cultivation section is a must read. I have done, an will do all of my plants like that from now on. Take the top and dip it in some aloe and plant it also. Mine get topped after the 3rd set of leaves and I end up with beauties like this!!!
