However I just recently pulled the trigger and set up what i believe to be the best compilation of what techniques i saw all over the Internet. My goal here is to seek a little guidance through my first grow and any knowledge you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
First of all these are a hybrid gorilla glue #4 and this is week 2 and i just added nutes at half strength. The blue res is has 10 gallons and the 2 yellow topped ones are running 7 gallons each. I just wanted some advice as to whether or not these little ones look healthy and also what your thoughts are about general setup. Im running a 6in ipower inline fan with a carbon filter and a 600w metal halide for veg and have some movable 100w cfls for additional horizontal growth. (Or thats the goal) lemme know what you think and once again thanks for taking the time to check this out ill post pics and updates as frequently as you all would like.1453175629447-1045780504.jpg 1453176001265-42601911.jpg

They look great, looks like you did some good ole research. Can't really comment on the setup too much, i only grow 1 plant at a time in a 5 gal previously with cfl's and now with mh/hps light. Of what i'm aware of I'd assume you got your bases covered

Planning on any training or just gunna start all natural?

Looks like a nice setup! Personally I think you have too many plants for such a small area in a dwc system(s). You can easily have one or two plant in that same space and fill it out wall to wall. Once the roots hit the water, they are going to explode. You might want to put them into flower now LOL. Just kidding, but yeah, it's going to be a crazy jungle in there, no need to train anything, you might just be pruning a lot.

Good point, it is going to be a jungle in there! I didn't even think of that. I've never grown more than one plant at a time so i can't give any advice on which is better, but you could diff fill that area with 1 plant or with all of them, probably be less work with less plants esp considering having to deal with those 3 res's vs 1 or even 2 res's. I'm really lazy so i always take the lazy way lol

What size is that tent and what is your plan on veg time?

Sounds like a plan. In a tent, with a scrog/net, you are only going to really harvest the top 20" of the canopy. Everything below is going to be larf and pale from lack of light. Also, a 600w in a 4x4 without an air cooled hood might get pretty hot, effecting your Rez temps which is asking for water/root issues. Are you using anything to prevent root rot?

I have a constant temp of 80 and humidty at 45% im running a 6 inch inline fan with a cfm rating of 440 so the temps i think are ok. Maybe im wrong my res temp is 65

Are you using anything to prevent root rot? A sterilizer or beneficial bacteria? Are you using a chiller to keep Rez temps low? Tent temps will be relative to the room it's in. Might get hot in spring/summer without an inline hood.

I do the same, what's your yield just out of curiosity?

with my two cfl grows(approx. 168w total) I yeilded 3oz's per grow(no plant training and 4 week veg). Currently on my first grow with my new 250w, you can check out my journal on it in my sig, feel free to comment.
