What nutrients are needed for flowering?

So the plant just started the 12/12 schedule and the first pistils are appearing now. I'm going to buy some nutrients later today, but we don't get the same brand named stuff as you guys in the U.S.A...so what ingredients should I look out for? e.g. something high in potassium etc.

Any help would be great!

Yeah, from the U.K and growing in soil.

Is Bio-Bloom available from any stores? I work in a B&Q store, so it would be nice to know if anything from there would do the trick!

i use sensible seeds to get my nutes, they are next day del.
you could use bio bloom for 12/12.

and its easyer to get seeds and nutes from england, most are banned in us.
most people us get seeds etc from the uk.

Thanks for the info guys. Is there a highstreet product that would do the job? I've heard things about Miracle Grow Bloom, is that any good?

i use biobizz bloom, because i like my grow to be organic...second most important thing is NPK of a fertilizer, which means concentration of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium...if u insist on getting your nutes on a high street look for ones higher in P and K than N..u need P and K more than N in flower, although some N is still necessary..i use 2.0-6.0-3.5..higher numbers indicate the strength of a nute...

I have some Soluble Plant Food with these percentages:

NPK - 12-10-27

Nitrogen 12.0%
Phosphorus Pentoxide 10.00% (4.4% P)
Potassium Oxide (27.00% (22.4% K)

It also contains Magnesium and Sulphur with Iron and Manganese.

Does that sound okay? It sounds pretty damn strong. You mic it with a lot of water though, so I guess the actual percentages vary.

NPK 12-4.4-22.4..you should be shooting for higher P and K and lower N for flowering..when you get one start with 1/4 of a recommended dose and gradually make your way up...

Okay I'm going to try and find something with a lower N% and a higher P% later on when I go to work. Thanks a lot for the help, I think I know what I need now!

For 6+ years I've used a 10-52-10 for flower..this year I was going to go 10-25-20 but I waited till sold out..any basic nute with a higher P then K and last N in decreasing amounts is OK....

I actually just found a 9-12-9 in my garage, but I think I'll follow your advice and try to find a feed with a higher P, then K.
