Asking many people here in Europe they don't even check PH, do you always check PH?

Have you grown not checking PH at all?

I check every single watering. For the few minutes it takes why the hell not?

If it is scientific fact that particular nutes are more readily consummed at a specific ph range then.... of course...

but not my soils, why?

I don't have too, besides its alive last I looked

as its alive.. like you and me it will be in constant fucks

Yes I check and adjust PH everytime.

I have done a couple grows without checking ph, as I couldnt afford a proper pheter. This was before I realized it's entirely necessary and will lead to problems I'd you don't have the proper ph levels.

No because I know how much pH down I have to use in my reservoir to make the plants look healthy, I just put that amount in and stopped checking pH.

I'm strictly soil so no hydro shenanigans with PH for me.
90% of my stuff goes in ground and gets hit with rain for watering and sometimes out of a local creek. A little bit of lime goes a long way.
Anything in pots usually goes in Promix. It hasn't given me any issues at all and keeps PH in the good range. I really haven't had to amend it or anything. No PH down. No added lime. Nothing. I've given them tapwater with good results and that crap comes out of the faucet at an 8.

Havent checked in five years. Everything is A ok. Comes out of the tap at 6, sometimes 7. My personal philosophy is that "ph problems" usually mean whoevers diagnosing the plant problem has no clue whats going on. But thats only my 2 cents and i dont care what anyone else thinks. ;)

I am currently growing Jillybean, Chernobyl and a very good hybrid of unknown origins and they all get tap water that has been bubbled for 48 hours, that is not pHed. The herd I've got going in my soil takes care of everything. My tap comes out at 8, yes eight. But thats a soil I've inoculated with tons of bennies and a few different mycos. But I don't use nutes either so I'm not sure how applicable my experience is for you.

I had a friend who i worked with and he set up a dwc 8 site and then checked his ph...8 like you. It would swing to 10 before rez changes. Great bud and lots of it. Never phed down.

I never check my ph I ain't checked it in years,no need if the water is good ,most of the U.K. Water is pretty good so no need,but ec is essential.

I was a grower that checked his ph every day,but then I met yoda of the grow scene and he said do one with out useing a ph pen ,he said add a air ring to the bottom of the plants final pot put a layer of clay pebbles over it then soil have the ring going to a fish tank pump,no need to start the pump till the roots hit the bottom of the pot ,this takes around 7/12 days.just water around the stem,after about 7/12 days turn on the pump,the roots love it,have a air stone in a feeding tank,I have a 50 litre one that feeds 2 plants,a compressor is a better option,I went from 8/10 oz dry per plant ,to min of a lb every grow,can't remember last time I did not hit 2lb from the 2 plants I do,light each,but that's in a auto pot,I us the air ring in auto pot but works just has good in soil,have it running 24/7.

A other thing to do is have a decent size bucket I have a 15ltr one that I get water direct from the tap,but then I leave it to stand for a couple of days for the chrorine to evaporate.

I dont check run-off in soil, but i fuck with oyster shell flour and/or dolomitic lime every few months and that pretty much takes the need for pH adjustment away from my tap water.

Its pretty simple though. If your soil/nute mix has pH buffering capabilities within the root zones range you will be fine (tap water cant be too acidic or alkaline though or it can be out of whack). If not, you need to pH the feedings.

Hence the air ring sounds like it has nothing to do with ph,but has long has the roots are happy the plants are.since he shown me the air ring to compressor I have not had any problems,new growers cause there self more harm than good with ph'ing.

I think that they would be far better of just doing straight forward grows forget the ph if doing it in soil but get a ec trunchen
