5 days old. Oh and to be clear. They are under four 23w cool white cfls and have been for the past few days. I only had them under the MH because I couldn't find my lamp cord. All is well and as soon as they establish themselves a bit further I'll move them along to the real setup ;)

Day 7. So the weather here has gone apeshit. Our ambient outdoor temps went from an average 40-45F down to 15-20F overnight. A foot of snow greeted the wife and I today. Wind chill is like -7F so yea it got really fuckin cold pretty quick. Long story short...the babes got at least 8 hrs of colder than avg temps. I don't have an extra heater to put near them or anything as of yet, BUT I did counteract the weather by putting them back under the MH dimmed at 300w. Cleaned my carbon filter and rearranged some ventilation as well. I have the exhaust just blowing inside the tent and a small fan on low bringing fresh air in from another room. Tent door is cracked a little, but it definitely made a positive difference. The dome was slightly misty inside and all seedlings look to have grown. No doubts the colder air temps stunted them a bit, but i'm sure they'll recover w the quickness.

Sorry for the lack of updates. 3 of the original 4 seedlings were culled from low temps due to the extreme weather we've been getting. I usually have ZERO issues with temps, but I guess I just picked the wrong time to start a new dwc run. Instead of waiting for shit to straighten out I went ahead and cracked 4 more Alien Bubbas so I have a total of 5 atm. Tore out the dwc stuff I had and stored it until I'm ready for it again. Here's what's going on now...

Here's a couple pics taken just a few mins ago. They are all over 2" tall and all have done some serious growing in the last couple days. The one on the far right is the stunted original that's in the rapid rooter still. Another wk or so maybe and then i'll move them under the MH and transplant to 1 gallon smart pots.

I also have my eye on some new grow gear here very soon. I think I've settled on a 4x8 tent and another 600w light. That'll provide me with WAY more room to manage a perpetual and allow my smaller tent to pose as a permanent veg residence or for harboring males and doing seed runs at some point.

Real excited all my Alien Bubbaberry #1 crosses are currently being tested by outside growers in all kinds of systems an locale, etc. Should be some nice pheno s to find. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks Dread. Really sorry for the delay man! Swear good things are coming our way! Very pleased with the progress in just a few days in soil and the temps seem to be perfect. Very excited to get the expansion going so I can pop somemore beans here in a few weeks or so ;)

Hope all is well, my man. My bag-seed babies are coming along nicely. Here in a week or so, I should be receiving a goody bag from Herbie's. I'll be trying Lemon Kush, Northern Lights, Barney's Blue Cheese, and Money Maker. Do you have experience with any of these? I'm sure most have grown Northern Lights. I've always enjoyed it, and apparently it's a beginner friendly stain.

I'm happy to see you're going the soil route this time! Things are looking good. :blsmoke:

That's awesome man. Glad to hear you're still cruising. You've got some good genetics coming from the sounds of it. I have grown the Blue Cheese once and it was pretty decent stuff. Havent ran the others before. I'm very excited to be making the switch to organic soil man. So far so good. Thanks for chiming in! Keep me posted on your progress also

7 days old for the first 4. The stunted one is obviously cup 5. Temps have been awesome and they're cruising along. I ordered my smart pots. Should be here in the next couple days. Watered them with a splash of PBP this am as the cups were almost dry. Trying to get in the habit of watering with plain water a bit at first and then rewatering with w/e I wanna feed afterwards. Cup #1 is definitely the strongest of the bunch thusfar, but the other 3 aren't far behind. All working on at least their 2nd set of leaves. Going to be dialing in the tent here later today as well. Have to get some temp readings so I know what to expect before I transfer them, but I think at this point I should be good to go. Supposed to get really cold again this wk so I don't wanna take any chances.

Day 9 from seed crack. They've been under a 300w MH for 24 hrs now. Loving it. Cups are going dry in about 2-3 days now. I've only had to water them twice. Gonna let them get a bit more growth outta the solo cups and then transplant. Going to start feeding more gradually as well. The runt has started growing a bit more. I can see roots literally flowing from the rapid rooter so she should snap out of it any day now.

Day 16 2-9 They have recovered nicely and have done some nice growing. I've got the setup dialed in even with the super phuckin cold temps outside. Tent is running about 74F lights on 64F lights off. My RH could be higher but I'm gonna grab an ultrasonic humidifier also along w a new MH bulb so that should help also. Gonna be expanding and adding some new gear soon! :D

They all had some weird leaf twist going on but just for the first set. Everything after seems right healthy. I'll be topping 4 of the 5 in the next few days I think. They're working on their 3/4th set of nodes and I cant let them get too crazy tall. Just ordered a new 2' 4-bulb T5HO and a new Apollo 4x4 tent =) So now I can flower and veg in separate areas....SUPER exciting!!

Day 18ish. #2 and #3 have my eye, but #4 isn't far behind. #5 doesn't seem to like the watering schedule so i'll start watering it less I suppose. #1 is still growing...I guess. Grabbing a few things over the weekend. My list so far is 2 humidifiers, 5g smart pots, a new 400w MH bulb, organic unsulphered molasses, and aloe. Got home from work and the new gear has arrived and I'm setting it all up this weekend as I have 3 days off. Been going nonstop for last 5-6 wks. Be really nice to slow down for a few days and just chill. Blaze a bit and spend some quality time w ALL my girls. Cheers all

Hey, Mineralz. Your girls are looking fine! I noticed you had an issue with your leaves "twisting." The same thing happened to me. If I understand right, it's due to a low RH. I might need to invest in a humidifier myself. How is it adjusting to soil? Is the slower veg stage frustrating for you? :D

My "Money Maker" baby just poked through last night. I learned recently that it's also known as "Master Kush 94," which is Snoop Dogg's preferred smoke. :bigjoint: Looking forward to seeing this one grow.

Yea man the low RH definitely has something to do with it. I also had some issues with low temps for a few days when they were seedlings, but I think I've got it sorted out. Pretty sweet your MM popped. I'm actually gonna drop a Nirvana Master Kush fem bean today and maybe a couple others not sure yet. They seem to be digging the soil so far. I've never done a soil run before so I'm not really sure what to expect as far as growth goes. They're definitely making progress and I'm used to vegging for around 5 weeks in DWC. I doubt i'll veg that long with these ones though. Another couple of weeks so I can snag a couple clones from each and then flower them out to see what I'm working with ;) Thanks for swinging by
