If you're trying to save money, you COULD get the 4.8" profile from heatsinkusa.com at its cheapest $0.78/in but you HAVE TO actively cool it with multiple fans. But better off just getting the 5.886" that I and most others here use. I still actively cool my 2 36"/4 3590's/ 2 140mm fans each.

sorry im a total noob with all this, just trying to learn. Why does everyone use high watt leds and not 5w like what manufactures use? Your leds look white, i thought you need red and blue to grow?

Haha.the colors are there man. Just like an HPS looks orange and a MH looks white. They have the wavelengths needed. High Watt cobs are efficient, long lasting, and have a huge output of lumens compared to a bunch of little ones. The cons we use could use some more blue and red, yes, but they run cooler, less electricity, and are more versatile then hot HIDs
