That's not how it works. you don't get to claim what other people are, they do, and when they do something that you don't like, you have to face the fact that their belief system, the same that you share, could be responsible for their actions, exactly how you claim those you oppose are influenced by their political or religious ideology. It works the same for white, American Christians as it does for brown Muslims

The way you're operating is conservatives can do no wrong. So even if someone you would call a conservative today did something wrong tomorrow, you would dismiss them as not being a true conservative. In your mind, you're on the team that, by definition is always right, so if someone does something wrong, it's not the team that's wrong, it's the person. That's how Christians operate, that's how Americans who have no understanding of how foreign policy works operate. We're always the good guys no matter what

If Ted Cruz was caught with a boy-toy tomorrow and suspended his campaign, you would condemn him as not a true conservative

Lol no they weren't. I never made the case that it was in line with the modern Conservative in this thread. I have made the case that today's jingoism and xenophobia in what many people call the conservative side of American politics is like the lead up to Nazi Germany - which it really fucking is if you know history and aren't a complete and utter blind moron. Nazis political leanings are not in line with today's liberal/progressive's "agenda" unless you're an ignorant idiot. I've never said a thing about "Constitutional Conservatives," being in line with Nazism; in fact I said the opposite. Once more, Muy, if you have a reading disability, what I've maintained - which is completely correct - is that: Nazism is not Socialism, has opposed Socialism, is socially conservative, and lays classically on the "right" of the political spectrum.
