No more than they need, although I admit I have a tendency to hit 'em a little harder with bloom nutes during certain weeks of flower. I'm in Week 7 right now, and even with the boost in PK nutes, I'm at less than 800 PPM, 180 of which is the tap water. I'm expecting an average of 2 to 3 ounces per plant when all is said and done, on a 1K SOG. So it's not as though I'm exactly starving them, but I'm definitely a ways short of Canna's recommended feeding schedule, and I see no reason to bump it up. The plants aren't telling me they need it, so I'm not going to force it on them.

I use soil and I pretty much use no nutes. Each time I pot up, I'm adding nutes through the new soil. If I see deficiencies then I start to feed.

ur light placement maybe of concern ...lolEveryone I see using high PPM end up with issues. I have kept mine half the recommended amount plus 100 ppm and my plants have not seen any issues.So.. Less neuts or more nutes! Let the battle begin.Hello from the grow room...

Its not so across the board and one size fits all really. I advise for most to go on the lighter side of EC but thats FOR MOST. A really experienced greenthumb that knows all about the varieties they are running....and running them varieties under super intense (double ended) light with higher temps, co2 , RH, and with VPD numbers all dialed to the razors edge....hell yes EC can and SHOULD be ran much much higher. You all should hear what big tomato greenhouse growers run EC numbers at in the prime season. Its pretty shocking. Most growers arent running a garden all maxed out and riding that wave all the way to harvest....day in and day out. Theres at least one pillar in alot of peoples grow rooms that isnt up to snuff compared to the rest....thus that is its limiting factor.

I'm running 1 oz of ff big grow and 1 oz of tiger bloom per 6 gallons. After adjusting pH and adding Hydroguard the next day my PPMs are running 700-760 until the weeks over. I'm in week 3 of flower right now. The tiger is for bloom. Should I boost?

I push my plants in dwc. Peak bloom I'm running 2.2-2.4 ec.
That's just me tho. I get big frosty buds.

P&k will help build a strong root system in veg. I use a 1:2:2 npk ratio in veg and it builds massive thick roots.

I talked to a guy who uses clearex at each resivor change -- but should you really be flushing that often?

You can. I would help remove salt. I don't flush. I just gradually push the ec until I get tip burn and turn it down a notch.
