You're welcome.

To offer a bit of a suggestion...knowledge is the single most important tool a grower can have. Read, study and then read and study some more. Not trying to condescend on you my friend, but the question you asked is very basic and answered several times all over this forum. You have been lurking around since mid-December. Get involved, be proactive in your approach to cultivation. I assure you your results will be MUCH better

The hps is for growing, the l.e.d. is for trichs, seems to bring them out more, might not be a totally true fact, but from my observations it could be

Well I built a 36"x36"x7' box. I was useing CFLs. I went to a 600 hps and a 600 mh. I'm fixing to extend the box 2 more feet. That will make it 36"x4'x7'. I have 5 plants in there. Three are about 5'6" tall. There master kush. Three are budding great but I think theyneed a little more room. Instead of being crammed in a small area.

Lol, it will look pretty small here in a few weeks when those damned autos finally finish.

And yeah Tex, you can definately use hps start to finish, I have the air cooled with the hatch so I can change between the mh/hps, just never used it, haven't even opened the bulb, maybe next time
