I have a 4x4x6 tent it is getting warmer outside and my tent temperatures are climbing. I am in week 6 of flowering.

I have two 400w HPS and one 400MH

I am thinking I will have to ditch the 400 MH :( :(

Some strains like it a little hot, but 94 might be pushing it... air cooled fixtures help. What cfm is your exhaust fan? What is the room temp outside the tent?

420 CFM fan with 19" carbon filter. The room temp outside of the tent is uncomfortably warm also.

Open reflectors. I dont have enough time left to order cool tubes

Any windows in the room to help pull in cooler air? Are you exhausting into the room? Any way to duct the exhaust out? Like to the attic or something?

The air ducts outdoors through a window, i may need to rig up a vent to outdoors. I have a piece of plywood with a cutout for the duct outdoors, I just know I will get SUPER low night temps though if I cut holes in this wood. I will have to manually stuff the holes every night for 2-3 more weeks.

Only the one window? Outside day temps in the 60's? 70;s? nights in the 40's? Do you run lights during the day or night? If you switch to night the cooler temps will help with the lights on.

I dont think you should reverse your light schedule in the middle of flowering....I believe it can cause hermies and possibly prolong your harvest. A lower RH during last of flowering is better to prevent rot and or mould and can create more resin and terps. Lowering the temps a little woild be ideal tho....and stuffing a hole for a couple weeks to maintain a better environment for your girls as they finish should pay off In the end.

If u can't get outside air in then yup you'll have to ditch a light, I have run two 400's in a 4x4 area and did quite well, I would probably run a MH and HPS and just switch sides every week. I'll see if I have a pic but I cut hot air duct takeoffs in my winged reflectors to remove most of the heat, works ok with the flex attached to them.

$$$ is an issue right now, can't justify coming up with $200 to get a portable AC that I will use for two-three weeks. Going to make holes in the window.

I have a plugin thermostat. I thought about putting the fan or a light on it.

How about running the fan on your house hvac to help circulate air? No heat no AC just the fan? maybe throw in an exhaust fan in the window for the room? Just thinking out loud here without spending any $$..

Thats way too hot bro....way too hot. Hes got open reflector lamps in a zipped up hot box of a tent. Buy some air cooled hoods and vent them correctly before doing ANYTHING else.

You got this crop going in that tent when it was nice and chilly outside and thought you were good to go didnt ya? Limited cash huh? You were better off springing for one 400 watter and buying the aircooled hood with it....and just using a section of that tent.
