Yeah I've realised that but I'd like to flower the photos at the same time as I'm moving out in June so need to be done before then! I might leave them to veg while the autos run their course then flower them
any advice on which is the lesser of the two evils would be much appreciated!!
Orrrr alternatively, I could cut now, dry for 5 days then place in curing jars with boveda humidity packs and hope they eliminate the need to burp the jarsSooo I've got a huge dilemma for anyone thats listening....
I was planning on chopping sometime this week (would be 8.5 weeks into flower) but Ive got to go away for 9 days starting on saturday 19th. Do I chop and hang my buds on say the 18th and give them a full 9 days to dry or do I let them carry on growing and cut them when I get back so I can properly regulate the drying- dont want to lose bud at the last hurdle! But 10 weeks in flower might be too long
Yeah that's what im thinking, I week and a half longer than yours and you said it could've been chopped earlier! It's 58 days from switching to 12/12 for me so probably a few days less in actual flowering, I think I'm gonna have to come back on like the 23rd to chop and hang, then they can dry for 5 days whilst I'm away and be ready to jar when I get back- what do you think to that (will probably end up being 9 weeks of true flowering)Check the trics , bud density too see if they have another 9 days...personally I would probably chop and make sure there hung in a low humidity warm drying area 8 and a half weeks was when I chopped my Inc bulk I had about seventy percent milky trics...put some pics up when your harvested...was the holy grail a straight forward grow? Thinking of doing that strain...good job for getting them to harvest in real good Nick mate this problem you have is a nice one to have lol....
Dry weight will be about twenty to twenty five percent of the wet weight buds look good mate...
Thanks man much appreciated, The buds seem to have lost nearly all smell since they've been chopped- will this return with curing or have I done something wrong?! Proper noobing out over here temps are aroung 18 degrees C, humididty is roughly 50%...
the smell will come back after you cure,
Excellent job on getting your first grow over the line...Those buds look top notch mate it is a time consuming pastime growing but well worth the effort...I popped in five Moby dick xxl yesterday got a t5 coming next Tuesday and out they go into the countryside in three weeks from now...anyway loving the pics you've done keep the journals coming il be watching mate sterling job...
