i hear ya, but disagree. Having the ability to add that 5th cob a-la-carte now or later will be huge for people and the # of different configs people can do. all the sudden you can cover a 4x4 grow space with 9 COBs in a 3 by 3 grid so budget minded people can get started with 2 kits.Gotcha.... True but the difference in price between 200 and 250 watt PS is negligible. the concept was you could add a single kit without the need for an additional power supply to up the anty, but Im open to only supplying a 200 watt PS versionGotcha.... Im loving Mau's CAD based goodies, the sliding rail concept he showed on his first video with these kits would allow you to bunch your lights to lift Par in a given area or spread it out or even angle the lights, very flexible. Not saying large plate heatsinks are not cool or Square CPU coolers, just saying what we are trying to develop is a very simple, thermally effective and infinitely configureable conceptI second this idea.im still skeptical on the round heatsinks,just seems like square will be easier to work with when mounting to most diy rail systems .and how about an option to choose between those dimmable drivers or a non-dimming meanwell,maybe that would take care of any price difference between the 2 drivers?
