my ice plants will be 6 weeks on thursday and i am going to have to pick them. they have been inside in 3gallon pots grown organically under 1000w hps. will the bud be any good. not worried as much about the yeild cause it is just smoke for me. never pulled a crop early so just woundering if it will be any good or not. normally my ice plants go 8 weeks.

some are cloudy and some are amber. i know it is not a 50% amber to 50% cloudy. more like a 20% amber. i know they wont be all the way ready. i am just woundering if the smoke will be even worth my time drying and curring or if it does not finish is it no good? never had to pick early b4.

theses plants would be a little hard to move some where because they are so big. and i just really dont trust anyone knowing i have them. found out i can push them to 7 weeks b4 i have to leave. all i really want to know is the smoke going to be any good or will it be a waste of time to dry and cure? thanks for the sugestions on what to do but i will have to pull them next thursday. it is not an option. i just really want to hear from people that have had to pull there plants early b4 and if the smoke will be any good.

Was he/she close? lol

Weigh your options and make the move. My policy on funerals is I don't go unless I knew, liked and will miss them. Even if they're family. Unless you know/like someone that needs your support.

i have to go out of town 4 a death in the family

Are you sure the Trichomes are amber and not the hairs on the bud? If you have some amber trichomes that bud is going to be fine. If you have some amber hairs its most likely at a smokeable stage as well. And you still have a week or two im thinking, so it will be ok. You will want to be with it to dry it though, and watch for mold. Im not sure if that is going to be a problem.

I would just leave them alone and let them die, if it happens. When you come back after a week or two give them some water and see if any come back.If not then you have at least partially cured weed as old as it could get:hump:Showgirl
