Insurance is a game of the financial sector, just as banking, and prohibited nationwide simply by marijuana remaining on the Justice Department's Schedule I Controlled Substance list.

They said I needed business insurance because of money generated from the grow. Their words

That's the truth brother. No business in this country should be forced into uninsured cash only transactions, as it not only endangers the business and employees, but customers and communities as well. But that hasn't phased those responsible in the Justice Department nor changed their will to enforce cannabigotry policies or promote their "drug war" business model ...

Your best bet is to not tell them exactly what your doing or just say it is for "hobby" use. I would just have a skilled electrician look everything over.

The most likely cause of fire in grows other than overloaded circuits are oscillating fans that never get turned off and dehumidifiers. I have 2kg auto fire extinguisher near every fan, ballast, and dehumidifier.

I would be more worried about the microwave radiation coming from the meters than the fire hazard. Standard meters can catch fire as well.

Also call your power company. Many offer the option to go back to the analog meter for like $10 a month

Try Growing a pair of bawls. Most smart meters are attached to the side of the garage. Unless you live in a shack it shouldn't be near a kids room

You cannot legally insure or bank anything related to marijuana in this country as long as it remains on the federal Schedule I Controlled Substance Act list. Financials are controlled by federal regulation that specifically prohibits it and insurance is nothing more than lawyers selling legal agreements backed by banking.

I'm not saying you cannot find a shady insurance salesman to sell you a policy here brother. I'm telling you that you'll have no legal right to a claim upon that policy (legal agreement) if need be. The same goes for your home and auto insurance if their lawyers can argue that they were used in the commission of a "crime" as well.
