7 weeks in, 1st indoor grow

I'm 7 weeks in, I have super skunk and skunk cross I bred. how's it look everyone, I been using maxibloom and koolbloom, overdrive, I'm going to flush shortly, get a few days it, they look like they will be ready by week 8 I hope, I r had a nutrient burn during week 6 but I flushed right after, other than that grow has been fine, here's some pics, chime in let me know what ya thank,

Im gunna assume that those burnt leaves are better off being trimmed so that the plant doesnt have to put any extra energy in trying to heal/maintain them. As much as I hated cutting or plucking any leaves from my girls, in the long run its proved benificial... Specially with yellow or burned leaves, I rip those bastard right off.

i'm just starting out, but I do agree, I always do a few crops outdoors organic, let me tell ya , good smoke, I'm sure I will have it dialed in next grow, idk, no problems whats so ever until like week 6ish, next time I'm going to go back to a 1\4 strength beginning of flower then slowly raise,

Im in the same skill level as you bud, but I did my home work before I started growing and quickly corrected my newb mistakes so i figure ld id pass my knowledge along

I appreciate the help, and I studied alot of the indoor scene lol I got almost 15 yrs experience outdoors, which anybody knows that's like night and day tho, compared to indoor, which I love btw, I should have went soil but went coco instead, thx btw, I hope it didn't affect my yield, ohh welll, always another gooo

I dont really like the idea of coco because of the fact of how it holds water, its un-natural to the plant. I always like to think of the natural habitats of this species such as Jamaica or South America. And as much as people want to believe that there is tons of cocoa on the ground, there isnt! Its a bunch of native soils with decomposted plant matter that became composted over hundreds of years.

Im pretty sure that rockwool and coco was not this species first choice to grow in lol. It is fun to experiement in different medias though, for me, I use soil because it hold moisture for just the right amount of time and the girls will grow even if the soil dries out... Go ahead and dry out rockwool or coco for a day or so and watch how the plants react.

As far as the yield goes... Indoor invironment overall is more important than the nutez you put into the substrate. If you dont have your temps and humidity dialed in, your going to start seeing weaknesses and your yield will be affected more by that than anything else.

And cut the burts leaves off. Theyre not doing your girls any good.

Your a funny guy... Coco is a hydro medium. As in lower pH needed, inert material you have full control of with way way faster growth. Add perlite to the Coco in the amounts depending on how much growth you want and how long you want to go between watering. Coco perlite hemp is the simplest form of hydro and blows the socks off any non living soil easily (if your a pro and make your own Super soil with all the benies I'm not talking bad about your dirt)

In not entirely sure what that picture is? Maybe a strange tea?

But yeah before I went to water I mixed coco/perlite/and black field dirt I love dirt and will always have something in some good soil even as a hydro guy now

Hahaha yep, its my own strange tea formula.

Im not hating on the hydro technique, and was actually interested in buying a flood table kit, however, it takes up lots of indoor space whereas with soil I can stick a plant in small areas without having to sacrifice real estate.

I actually use way less room using water. I'm in the same room but now I don't need to have bags of perlite, a tote of dirt, blocks of Coco or whatever taking up that area.

that's the main reason I went to coco, something new and different, I been growing soil and organic a long time, lol, to be honest, growing hydro, whether it's in soiless or ponics, it's creative and cool as fk when ya think about it, lol, having a faster growth rate imo is sweet also, imma get it dialed it,
