I've had some for years and kept them sealed. Most are fluid with only a few that have some small hardened crystals in them.

When do you start using them?

Do you still burp and move ur buds around in your jars until they are at least not getting moist after lets say 12hrs?

When the jar has stabilized between 60-65 percent humidity.

I use a large boveda pack for that size.

Edit - not that its the only way to do it, but if you put it in the jar to moist then it can take quite a few packs

I throw them away when each jar is cleared out, if you use them to cure two different strains it makes the weed smell like the first strain you used it to cure with.

When properly used there great, if they become hard check on Google to rehydrate them, or just replace.

Put bovedas in Tupperware with a shot glass filled with distilled or even reg water for 5 days. Water does not have to touch the bovedas. They suck in moisture and are almost good as new.

This will be my 3rd time curing with the same packs. As long as they are taken care of theres no reason you cant keep them good.

After all... with the economy the way it is... why not save money where you can... by RE-USING.
