The end of LED is nigh. Incandescent will rise again.

Well I cant speak for incandescent growing as ive never done it.Stubbornly stuck with my floros before changing to led.Hit some roadblocks on my journey, chinese plant stretchers etc.Tried my hand at cob growing, they grew well but I didnt like the intensity hot spots they seemed to create.Im much happier with my mono arrays, seems to give more even distribution of light with no concentrations, and much easier to tune spectrum.Much like my old floros but with higher intensity.Im not saying cobs are bad, they just arent a good fit for me.There isnt a one kind of light that fits all,and I hope there never will be.Just an old man rambling...carry on.
I have 3 a51 5w panels that are way too good not to be used. I will not be updating either. My new stuff is cob based and will be for the foreseeable future but even my old sgs is great!

leds are overatted.the claims led companys make are bogus.for example the spectrum king ppl claim thier 440watt lights can match a 1000 watt hps when in reality they cant.
Tell that to Remo. He's doing amazing things with SK lights. Yes they are expensive, but the proof is in the pudding.

Translated it says: "led works, thus those claims from led companies are true. I refute your claim about them being bogus, with these pictures."
Ah it sounded like he was stating those are pics of 430 watts of led that can match 1000 watts of hps, and that is what confused me. I use LEDs and they're great, but what is pictured and what's a 1k hps can do are entirely different animals ime. So I thought maybe I had misunderstood or it was sarcasm or some shit.

I'm just saying they're worth they're investment, right?

That's a much clearer statement lol. And to a point I agree. If I can save on electricity and yield the same or better in my personal grow and the investment does not offset the difference in price in electricity for more than the first cycle. Then yes. If it takes more than a cycle to pay off my investment for lighting a 3x3 in a 3x3 then no, hps is still better bang for your buck lol. And by offset I mean it has to save me more or yield more in the amount of the investment. I was already yielding what I was yielding with hps, if I can't make the additional weight or electricity savings in the first cycle, not worth it IMO.
