So you saying that all nutrient are the same so that means I can go out and just use Miracle Grow ???
I would stick with StashToker advice
Actually with some dolomite lime i got no qualms using mg on out door. I havent in years but its very effective. I grow organically outside. All iam saying is there is a very basic and general nutrient profile for cannabis. And it works for all c3 plants. For a nutrient company to say there brand is cannabis specific is bullshit. Its them trying to steer you to buy that brand. Believe that. Ive used Dutch Master. Botanicare. Advanced. House & Garden. Canna. General. Heavy 16 . Dynagro. Dutch Pro. Humboldt. Hudrodynamics International. And many many other brands. There all are virtually identical in results in dry weight and quality of the buds. What i did notice that affected quality and quantity drastically was my room and canopy temps..my realtive humidity levels and my carbon dioxide levels....consistent lights on and off and controlling them precisely.

Not really. If you know whats in each product most brands have very similar bottles. What your buying...besides base nutrients are additives that are largely comprised of plant hormones and natural chelators. Especially so called bio stimulants and catalysts.

Hormones extracted from kelp( ascophyllum nodosum) ...triacontinol...chitosan...humic and fulvic acids...left turning amino acids and vitamins (especially B vitamins).....these ars whats in most additives. Besides p and k and silica boosters which are largely the same also. Minerals are minerals....additives are additves....and marketing....hype and colorful labels are another whole thing all together.

I would stay away from miracle gro indoors actually. Its high in urea and ammonium nitrates which are more ideal for outdoors. Your nitrate nitrogen based fertilizer is more ideal for indoors even though plants (not just cannabis) spends alot of energy assimilating them.

Dynagro. Super concentrated for a simple one part. Very effective. Super easy to use. One of the oldest nute brands ( probably the oldest next to Dutch Pro.) They introduced the first silica product if iam not mistaken. They been around longer than gh flora i believe too. Yeah dyna is solid classic brand. But again....if you use them rite....cyco and dyna lkke the rest will give very similar results. Newish growers always look to nute brands for quality and yield increases when they really shouldnt be. Talk to any long time pro or veteran. They will tell you there all the same. Alot of smart old timers are either organic or mix there own salts from the same ag companies these hydroponic store brands get thier salts from. Why? Beacause its saves thousands on yearly nute bills and they been down this road a very long time and have seem it all and they know the real secret to fat gooey buds is not a secret at all. Its application of common sense garden skills acquired through years of trial and error and experimentation. Listening to these guys gives you a one up (they already tried everything) and will save you alot of cash.

Just like acquiring a real proven clone to run in your garden as opposed to finding your own in seeds. With top shelf clone onlys the work has already been done for you. Guys that know thier shit and give you advice are doing so because they have been where your at. And can save you alot of time money and headache. Especially with nutrients. Newer growers listening to other newer growers.....always talk about nutrient brands. For why? I have no clue.

Actually i do have a clue. A theory anyways. With colorful hydro store nutrient labels and tons of them....its something rooks can hold in thier hands....see it at the stores and bedazzled and swept up in all the hype. If there ever was a secret to bumper harvests it lies in much more scientific (esoteric??? Lol) things like temperature differential...relative humidity....vapor pressure deficit....carbon dioxide enrichment...and big scientific ( not really) words and data and charts to back it all up. And lets face it....it seems daunting and overwhelming to stoner kids that just want a quick crop if buds....especially American growers. But environment and the ability to control it alongside proven genetics is where you should really be researching and asking questions about. Might even visit your local library if you really want get a head start in being a bad ass greenthumb.

Awesome response! Thank you for that. I am excited to experiment between the two with hydro,Im prob gonna have two setups in my tent so that i can do a side by side comparison, i just heard some nutrients dont do well in some hydro set ups so i was worried about ruining one. I was pretty confident that dyna-gro would be fine but there just isnt alot of info out there on Cyco. My local grow shop pushes it Hard and was kind of hating on Dyna saying its levels arent always consistent bottle to bottle and was saying that the Dyna is very salty and that the Cyco isnt. Which i know that all you really would really need to do to remove the salts is a flush, so i didnt see the big deal but as a beginner at the time i took his word for it. Once i start the grow i will be keeping a detailed journal with side by side comparisons!!

Your hydro store guy can be full of shit but not all the time. You got to understand hes got a bottom line $ to adhere to. It a business. And alot of them are sometimes more clueless tham the customer. Hes pushing certain nute brands because he gets a higher profit margin on some brands than others. Green Planet Wholesale comes to mind. They always try to push that brand (it is effective though - just like the rest) here in my town but they dont know that i know GP wholesale has a hydrostore friendly profit margin as opposed to some or most of the others.
