First indoor [advice]

so I have an outdoor grow with 6 plants going, I'm about to split them after getting lights. I have 4 23w 6500 cfls and 4 23w 2700 cfls. I plan on using all 8 for the full spectrum. It'll be 3 plants indoor. I'm working on my cabinet right now. Any suggestions would be awesome.

The plants are bagseed

Cfls work fine for veg provided you have sufficent light.. Cfls aren't great for flower. Not saying it's impossible.

But to get something worth your time. Your want to keep them as low as possible via lst/topping/supercrop what ever your prefered method is. You need to keep the cfl as close as possible to the light without burning them. They do not have much penetration power.

How big are they now?

They're hitting 5-7 inches I figured since I don't know the strains that I'll switch them to 12/12 when they get about 10 inches to keep the height down. I've read that sativas grow 4.5x their height during flowering and 2x their height when it's indica. I know I need to wait for sexual maturity which is why I'm splitting my grow

CFLs veg great but when it comes to flower you'll need all 8 on one plant and be prepared to reposition those lights daily. That's just the beast when you deal with cfl's.

I'm down for it, I have more lights on the way. I just ordered these to keep them bushed out more. I'll end up with hps after this grow

Keep them outside,If you don't know what kind of stretch you're gonna get.
It would be worse to have to cut down because it got too big for your cabinet.

Even after I got hps lights I found myself adding cfl's where I wanted them. It's always a quest for more and better lighting. I'm doing a 1000watt vertical 8 seed plants and 4 clones.

Those look awesome. Definitely can't wait to get the hps in there.

Good point, I may just do 1 plant in the cabinet and see how that goes and have the rest outside. I live on 5 acres with woods covering almost all of it. I'll be uploading pictures later to show how they're doing. Been raining a lot so I haven't gotten many pics

More pictures later today. Rain killed 4 out of 6 plants, so I currently have 2 under 8 cfls and the difference is ridiculous already. Lights are running on 18/6.
