Trichome question

I have been watching my trichomes and I started to water with just water last week. I plan to harvest around April 5th but today I noticed that some of my trichomes(very few) have started to get amber but not on the head of the trichomes instead it's the shaft or stem part of it. Is this uncommon? Should I continue my flush for another week? I've only done 2 waterings with just water. They are grown in soil and Saturday will mark the beginning of week 10 under 12/12. Most trichomes are cloudy and less than 5% are amber then just a few on one plant have the amber stemmed trichomes

Also I have 1 plant that has just started shooting out lots more white hairs? Should they still be getting new hairs at week 10 of flowering? It was just bagseed for this first grow so I have no info on the strand

Everything you mention is normal....sounds like you're growing out a well tended garden.
Go with the trichome colour for harvest timing...they'll keep on pushing a few pistils out (she wants to get laid! ;-))

Sounds all good, you want more cloudy & amber than clear. Just make sure you're checking trics on the buds not the sugar leaves!

I check both but mainly because it's super hard for me to see through the small lens of the 60x loupe. So I look at the buds then trimmed a small portion of a leaf right next to the bud. The amber stemmed trich was spotted on the sugar leaf but my buds are at 95% cloudy and I only spotted maybe a handful of clear then less than 5% amber. But the not knowing the strand (except it looks mainly indicia) has me stressed and ready to start my next batch of known seeds, to do that though I must finish this one first

It's not just a few white pistils shooting out. Is that still normal? This bud doesn't seem as dense as the other plants but I did a test on that plant, not giving it bud candy to see if the plants with it were that much better to see whether it's worth the extra cash
