Virgin grower wondering if my plants look okay?

Hi there! :)

This is my first time growing. I didn't have any knowledge going into it. It was more of a little experiment I wanted to try. I know I probably don't have the best lighting or set up, but I'm doing the best with the amount of money I have. I don't want to put too much money into it my first time, you know? I've learnt a lot from this site though.

They are planted in Schultz potting soil plus with probably close to 50% perlite mixed in. I lined the walls with aluminum foil to add reflection of the lights. I make sure I let the soil dry out almost completely before I water them again. I have them on a 18/6 light schedule right now and I know they are all females because I got them as clones from a nice mother plant. As for lights I have one long tube like light that is Sun Blaster brand. A friend gave it to me without a package so I don't know how many lumens it gives off. I also have 2 Daylight 6500K CFL lights, each putting out 1450 lumens.

I got them as clones, with only 2 or 3 leafs on them on Feb 28th, so they are only about 5 weeks old :/

I'm just wondering if they are looking good, and if there is anything you would suggest I do?

Also, while moving them to a new home today (bigger closet) I managed to rip one of the leaves on the plant!!! :( I'm wondering if I should cut it off, or leave it? (And if I should cut it, where should I cut it because there are new baby leaves starting on that branch)

Also, I'm considering forcing them into flower soon because I know they usually double in size and the little closet I have them in won't be big enough if I let them veg for much longer.

Any tips, tricks or advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks in advance!

The leaves aren't as yellow as they look in the pictures, they aren't yellow at all. They look very healthy in person. (As much as my limited knowledge tells me)

They look good, but i would put some air flow on them to strengthen those stems!
Thank you for the quick reply! :) I do have a fan on them for most of the day actually, I only had it blowing on low though to circulate the air. I was worried blowing air too hard on them would damage them. Watching them flap around in wind that looks like a hurricane made me anxious that I'd hurt my girls. Haha

Put it on very low and let it oscillate. You don't want them flapping wildly. But a light breeze will keep mold away and make the stems get a bit stronger. It's a good kind of stress. Genetics may play a role too.

Edit- Also, rule of thumb is don't cut leaves off unless >50% of the leaf is dead.

Flapping wildly is what I meant. It just didn't look good. I just went downstairs and turned the fan up a bit and made it oscillate. (I didn't have it oscillating, and I'm not sure why because that just seems like common sense) Whoops. Haha! :D Thanks again for the advice. The 2 leafs seems to be drooping and dying faster as the minutes past :( But that's good information to know, I won't touch it until it's pretty much dead.

Another question is, should I buy soft white lights for when I change the light schedule and put them into the flower stage? Or is that not important? Will the lights I have on them now be okay for the flowering stage too?

dries them out sooner water by weight, is best but a fan is a good idea
I don't have a set watering schedule. I learned that much. I do water by weight and/or when the soil is almost dry. So the amount of days in between watering changes.
