My dog...

Has torn his ccl (ligament in his knee)
He's about a year.5, and has a shit ton of energy, even now when he can't walk with four legs (he uses his two back ones at the same time to kinda hop)

This problem is cause mainly by young hyperactive dogs who run around a lot, turns out it is really common. Just kinda throwing a warning out there for those of you who love your furry friends more than most humans.
He has surgery for 4/18 so anyone who wants to well wish him well, feel free he needs it.

If you look at his back right leg you can see his toeses all squnched up. Unfortunately he won't be joining me on a road trip to Colorado to pick out his new home. He's gonna have to rely on me to pick a nice sombra ready house for him.

Luckily for me I've taught him
No run
Slow
Basta
Down
Sientate
Relajate
Calmate
Calm
Relax
As well as a bunch of other non Ambulatory related words
Smart as hell dog. Dumb dog-father for letting him run like cwazy.

What is his name? I feel uncomfortable referring to him as dog. Can he understand Esperanto? Best wishes ______(<---insert dog name here)

Its a weird language, made up of diff languages. There was a fairly bizarre movement back in the late 50's and early 60's to introduce it as an "official" language in international negotiations, like the UN and shit.

Becareful after the surgery. My ex is a vet, she's been cautioning about my GS being too energetic and big. Says the surgery is delicate and very vulnerable for a long time. Med grade cocobutter will take the edge off

I was feeding him buds a few a day and it really helped. I was thinking of getting a cbd pen or w/e for a dog

Sombra has to go right back to work after.
I'm glad you guys have pets and know what to expect, and those of us that have pets with no ails can peek in and see what to do to help!

@Diabolical666 I remember reading awhile ago you were thinking about or got a pit,
How's that working out?
Shes good! She is 15 mths now...starting to get adult shape . I was surprised at how much her spots have changed over that time. Shes turned into my little copilot..she loves to go everywhere with me. (Reason I take her with me is bc last time she was left alone for more then an hour she ate my brand new Doc Martains;)

coming from a guy that spent 12k on two TPLO surgeries on a 100 lb bull mastiff...
I feel ya man...
any energetic muscular dog is prone to it...
bull mastiffs, pits, boxers, etc.
NEVER play any games where they jump, the construction of the dog's rear legs bow in, which is the whole problem.
You have my thoughts and prayers (from an atheist that is)
keep in mind that its VERY likely he'll rupture the other one too...
poor lil guy

awwww... I LOOOOOVE pits....
best dogs ever, I actually do volunteer work at the SPCA, specifically with pits, and bully-breeds, helping new owners realize that pits are a bit different than other dogs to have..
so adorable though...
best dogs ever in my opinion
