I never said I was better just make more money but any teacher telling a kid they are going to live in a crack house is not a very good person and does nothing good towards influencing the next generation. Plus I have helped a lot of people so I'm not a bad person weed is just one source of income for me I actually put people to work so they can feed their families in an area with barely any work. I don't see a teacher being any better than me IMO I pay them as is. Sure I may not have been a great person when I was selling hard drugs but they would have gotten the drugs without me so not really bad IMO.

In this country, teachers give up the thought of financial comfort in return for doing meaningful work. In other advanced and developed nations, teaching is treated with the same respect as any other profession, including medicine and the law. AND PAID ACCORDINGLY.

Saying someone else would have been their supplier does nothing to absolve your culpability. YOU didn't have to help them. Your moral compass needs a reset if you really think it was okay.

I fucking walked away from a good job selling high end cigars because I couldn't be a part of such a destructive addiction. Legality had not one dammed thing to do with it.

Abusive teachers would be quickly ousted and replaced if the profession were treated with more respect. I'm sorry you had poor ones who did not recognize your potential.

Remember, you're not the job creator; your customer is. You were just putting people to work someone else would have, anyway. See, that argument goes both ways.

Teachers make their own choice does not effect me whatsoever. Also I stopped selling hard drugs around 23 started at 15 and I'm still against the war on drugs 100% so I don't look down on drug dealers I was even hooked on opiates still no problem drugs should be legal. Do you think it's cool to have people majority black people caged like animals because they sold drugs? I sure don't.

But I never claimed to be a saint my family comes first dogs second fuck the world. Lol

We aren't any of us perfect, true that.

Teachers might make their choice, doesn't mean they should be forced to accept a second class existence for it.

If you want better education in this country, I suggest we get rid of administrative bloat in our schools and give their salaries and overhead to the teachers instead. Wanna bet how fast education would improve in this country then?

Competition is what spurs excellence, not a system which uses force to maintain the customer base.

Giving more money* to a person who partakes in a service where the customer is a captive is exactly the wrong thing to do. I suggest you brush up on "supply and demand" and how free market principles work.

In fact, if you weren't so afraid to, I could easily engage you in this discussion and refute your errors.


*actually "giving" is the wrong term. Your beloved government schools are funded thru taking and not giving.

Which is why private schools have the best teachers they pay more but pay for the best public schools take what they can get. Only problem is a good private school is very expensive.

Force is the same means government schools use to maintain their funding.
