Entry price is ~$50 for one. The code "DIY10" will work for them and take 10% off bringing them down to ~$45.
Shipping should be pretty reasonable using flat rate USPS. A single 200w might fit in a small $7 box. And a 13.45 box should hold up to ~9.

I think that these are going to be the best value and even even quality and in DIY and even commercial and will help with the cost of entry to build for many.
It also makes PLC a one stop shop for all your CXB DIY needs.
200w dimmable also sound like a great match for the bridgelux v-series v22s for a value play.

Awesome news @Greengenes707 ! I'm looking for a 150 watt 1.05a and 1.4a with dimming. I'm curious if LSD has that driver configuration...
They do have that configuration. I can't remember, but think you're international? If yes, then contacting them direct is probably the way to go.

I want 250v 1amp driver that could handle 8 vero18s or even something suited for the citizen clu046 1812, which run at typ of 1080mah at 52v so anothe 1 amp but 210v driver that could handle 4 of that clu046
,,,what protections they have?... are these protections suited (matched) to protect 3 or 4 cxb cobs?...
...maybe external sensor/s to check temps on HS or maybe in cobs... dimming by external temp sensor/s... i know ...i only dreaming...
...i suposee they use 3-1 sistem on dimming... its a 1-10v or 0-10v dimming?...
on inrush issue ... they recomend number of units on 16 A breaker?...
...any datasheet or other aplication note with more info?...

It is lacking compared to meanwells standards.
They have told me that the dimming specs are identical to meanwell. I have confirmed resistance and pwm.
They provide a very indepth data sheet with the order and I will upload that whole thing when the stock comes in.

They are very good matches with CXB's. That is why we are carry them,very cree focused. But the company has the ability to make many variations.
With that said, not everyone has been put through UL and everything. Some have it, and I know the rest can get it when put through. Meanwell could make a whole bunch of current/voltage combos too, but they would also not be certified, so they don't even bring up the thought.

These 200w in 1.4 and 1.8 will go through UL soon cause they will be in high demand.

Probably about 3 weeks for new stock of the 50w'ers and the new 200w'ers. We paid for air shipping to get them here as soon as possible because I know many are waiting for them.

Forgot to ask GG,what do you think of stocking the LSD 200 w 900 ma driver,it will run 6 COBs and you did mention maybe stocking some drivers for the more efficient end of things.

Seems like the 2 best options under 1000ma.

I like the 900ma myself...not too much increased build cost, and the gain is there efficiency wise. And can offer low clearance.

150w at 2.1A. But that's because 50% ROI is faster than 56%+, and by the time the earliest ROI comes, we'll want to upgrade to presumably newer more efficient leds.

150w for a pair of cobs designs well also. Could use it in a 2'x2', stretch it to a 2'x3', put a pair in a 3'x3'. Plus over building and drimming is a fairly cheap addition to DIY, and what better way to fight lumen depreciation than with a little crank up of the knob? :D

When does the efficiency drop off for these drivers? I'm assuming ~50%?

700ma is compatible with a wider range of monos.
cree Royal blues and photo reds have at least a max current of 1000ma. But many of the monos max is 800 or 700 ma.

although I suppose most diy builders won't be supplementing, so maybe it doesn't matter, but I like to fill out the Vf on my light bars.

Other than that I prefer 900ma :)

Building a 200w at 56% came to $334, $1.67/w, 268w needed for the same 150 par watts, $448 build. $65 more for the same light, -32 watts. $.00384 extra per hour for 32 watts, 16,927 hours to see that extra $65.

That is if cooling cost are not a issue. I cant get heat out of my grow easily so cooling is a road block. Run cooler means more area lite for me.
