1st Grow, Nirvana Swiss Cheese Auto in soil with CFL, 5 gallon space bucket

So the taller of the 2 seemed to be too close to the light because she bent to the side, I lowered her and her leaves turned back up but her stem is still leaning. The other one seems happy but my bucket temps yesterday were 77° for hi. Today it's already at 86°

i dont know where you read that autos are smaller by nature, but they arent. i have run 5 and wont run any ever again. the first was a bush, gave me 5oz. right now i'm about to pull 2 autos. they are 4ft and 5ft2in tall. IMO, autos are too unruly and are just shit. there may be some good ones out there, but i'm not wasting time, money, or space in my tent for an auto ever again. good luck
I'm a noob grower of 50 plus years on my first grow. Along with the noob excitement comes a peppering of wisdom. I chose autos for my first grow because I really wanted to observe the stages without having to worry about light, feeding schedules, etc. my next grows I've been planning and am ready to execute but without watching the autos first I'd even have less of an idea that I do now. I think autos definitely have their place and I'll let you know how mine turn out. I'm running candy cane from Cropking. I see two phenos so far from 5 seeds.

Candy cane sounds awesome, and I appreciate your perspective. I am in a similar mindset about the future however I'm hoping to have several auto harvests under my belt by the time I have the space available for what I would like to do.

As an update it seems I was actually underwatering and combined with a 90° spike one day caused some problems. I got one looking lively but I'm afraid I may have lost the other.

A few update pics from the trouble and the recovery.

Hey Red. Plants seem to be coming along nicely.
Mine are coming along nicely as well although one of my autos turned out to be male. Apparently it happens. Buh.
Anyway if you do run into any problems keep in mind you've done two of the big no no's with autos: you topped and transplanted. I'm hoping they'll do well.
