We get these here in my waters....average 1.5-3 kilos but ive seen a few 4-5kilo ones as well.
Peak periods of the year they sell for $55-$75 a kilo

I took a hike today to a spot I have been eyeing up and it seems someone else has the same location in mind. A few holes were dug, some soil, shovel etc under camo tarp . I'm an honest dude so I left everything as they were. Will I go back during harvest season? Nope ,, I believe in karma so if I'm not messing with someones else's crop I would hope someone won't mess with mine. But I know better.

Should I have left them a note ? "Hey man ,I found your spot, I won't mess with it I promise,, grow on! ". Lol.. Seriously I wouldn't,,,, or should I just go back and kick things around so they know said spot has-been compromised.

But if you're not gonna tell anyone or rip him or even go there again then it's not really compromised.
If you leave a note or whatever that's still gonna make them pretty worried.

To put traps up on your property is stupid and illegal. Just because its your land does not mean that no one has permission. If you have roads or water or gas lines on or near your property then there is a right if way. I bet money your deed list some type of right away.

The electric company doesn't need permission if their power lines are over your property. Gas and water the same.

Someone could be legitimately lost.

Like I said there are a hand full of reasons for someone to be on your property without permission.



I grew up in the sticks. Literally "hours" for police or ambulance response. No need for traps.


You are so worried about some pot that you could end up with a charge. That hook catches the jugular or gets septic and the person dies, you can be charged.


Believe what you want but to set a trap that could hurt an innocent person is fucked up.

there are o reasons to be on my land ,I own the road I plow I grade theres a gate with my phone # on it.cant get down the road unless I let u,its funny I don't even grow on my land,but have had things grow legs.if I confront someone on my land,there will be a firearm ready to go.1 less crack head ripper who cares

I really like this idea - in my younger years I managed to attain an IGFA world record on the fly rod.
