Mohican's 2016 Season

Too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry, old seeds, high pH, low pH, sunspots...:wall:
I'm germing four fem seeds right now, shit is nerve-wracking.
I run it simple; Jiffy peat pellets, tap water, in a covered seedling tray, usually without a heat mat. Almost forgot patience, of which I have very little.

Cloning with limited space is something else I obsess about. A couple days ago I built a ghetto micro-cloner using a standalone DWC bucket, by sticking a 10" plant tray into the 10" net pot with four roughly rockwool-cube-sized holes I cut with a steak knife heated by a crème brûlée torch, because I wanted to do it for $0.00 with stuff I had in hand before coffee.

The weird part is I have had almost 100% success with both cloning and germination, but I'm a nervous damn wreck every time, and it totally isn't a huge deal. Yeesh.

Looking awesome brother. All different stages huh.

I was up this morning kinda moving things into the most sunny corner. 16 females and 2 males out back. There's a good mix in there and everything is slowly starting to take off after the toppings. The Aloha Grape Stomper fems have some strong stems, beefy looking, sort of impressive. I did leave the 2x Karma AG13 Haze x Biker Kush females untopped and they look like Christmas trees so far.

I also had planted some cucumbers and must be zuchinni and those things are running all over. They drink water like mad especially in this (35 - 37c or 100+) heat but its crazy how fast they grow. One is growing down the blank space which is a "sun lamp" in the house and also all over the patio cover in front.

Ive got that meeting coming up in basically 2 weeks so soon enough will have some pictures up on my thread. Certainly will be nice to get back to some sort of work so that I can then fund some more growth and more ideas ;).

I have my fingers crossed for you! I have been going to interviews and I finally have my first offer. Unfortunately the interviews I have set for tomorrow are for better paying jobs. I need to decide which is more important, money or sanity!
I vote for sanity, but I also understand the want for higher take homes if at least for a few periods anyway. I am being forced to take the longer term lower paying option atm, but at this point its just about recovery and maintaining. I'll worry about the higher paying ones when I have a paying job going.

Verbally accept....then verbally decline. Most employment contracts have a clause that means the contract can be cancelled prior to commencing.....just saying. I have had countless peeps not show on a Monday as they decided on another better offer....it happens Mo.

Hey D, How is your brother doing?

Is everything in Holland decorated in purple to pay tribute to Prince?

Getting much sleep Dad?
Purple, lol....ORANJE!!!!!!!! Koningsdag was yesterday and I was suitably dressed in Orange :)

Brother in law is the hopsitals miracle patient. From having a 15% chance of living just over a month ago, he is now cycling his smallest son to school. His right shoulder is still fucked due to muscle degradation, but other than that, his Kidneys and livers are back on track (so he can also now take pain killers which he hasn't been able to do due to them being goosed after all the Malaria drugs), and most importantly, his mind is 100%. He's the CTO at a Network company which he's a partner in so I think he's itching to get back to work and get his mind excercised....going to get bog rolls from the shops is the highlight of his day at the moment, lol. Thanks so much for asking Mo!

And yes, sleeping is getting better all the time, just the odd nightmare night.

That is such amazing news about your Brother-in-law!!!

Are people mourning Prince in The Dam?

Two is so much harder than one. I don't know how anybody can handle more than two! Must be some kind of brain damage that allows a parent to function at that level.

Hey MO! garden looks FANTASTIC! sorry to hear that other bucket list job didint work out. I think you will be so much happier with this new job. I did the same thing recently. Took a lower paying job, 4 days a week and ride my bike to work. The job is killer. I love it. laid back, awesome. My husband worked at that KORBELL winery for a little while and we lived in a small town called Rio Nido in a treehouse right by Gurneville. Good luck with the new gig! take it easy pal.
