Good reminder, one of the cats and I are going for a drive to the market right now. I've been meaning to grab horseradish! I'm trying to eat more of that and garlic, so I don't Prince-out from a common cold.
Actually a proper French dip should consist of a fresh baked 12" hoagie, with a tad bit oil, vinegar and Italian seasoning. FD's shouldn't come with cheese, but always ask. They should come with about 7 ounces of roast beef (prime rib at certain places) that is gently warmed (not cooked) there should be pink.

And with two sauces au jus aka french onion and Horse sauce. Not horseradish but horse sause.. Which I think is just HR and mayo.. But that's tarter sauce so idk.. Lol

Quick tip for the day.. You most likely have never had real wasabi, American counter part is actually horseradish.

Considering wasabi is actually one of the hardest plants to grow in the world. From my knowledge wasabi is only grown in Japan. Where the water temp stays at 50F almost all year and the outside temp is close to 60F it's grown in these small creeks (don't know the name) but it's grown hydroponically outdoors.
From what I hear an ounce of true wasabi cost in the hundreds
