you can def see the diff. side by side of the 4000 vs 3100K (i mean, the color, visually. as for effect on plants i havent made a good assessment of that yet)

yeah i did that last time but it was hard to get an accurate assessment as if you recall that batch was revegging-dwarf-clones

the ones that worked out were like 18"+ tower of power colas, tho

im about a month behind on next cycle as im too busy with other obligations. i think the 4 315s on movers in the 5x9 gonna crush. was just too much light for the 5x5

I like fast movers more than slow ones.

i have the standard old lightrail 3s from like 15 years ago. im not looking for much movement here. almost wondering if 4 315s are not enough for that space

4 315s in a 5x5 = 50 w/sf
4 315s in a 5x9 = 28 w/sf
6 315s in a 5x5 = 42 w/sf

3rd prob most optimal for coverage but im hard pressed to throw down any more money on hid tech right now. maybe throw an ACDE in the middle @ 600-660 W as i have that on hand.

Movers and 4 x 315W CMH lights over your 5x9 and you'll be fine. Place reflective material all around, right at the edge of the trellis. No gap is best. You'll kill it.

Growth has been explosive under my lec, but im not sure weather to attribute that to the light or the soil.

Ive kept the light at the top of the tent to slow it down. To no avail it would seem

yeah its hard. thats why we see so many conflicting results

who is not upgrading every grow like constantly? so many factors.. and were all hopefully getting better at it cycle over cycle

Uh, that was exactly the wrong thing to do. Crank that hood down on the plants and they'll quit stretching so much lol

Oh I'm aware, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. See they aren't really stretching that much at all really, unless I'm mistaken. The parabolic reflector is the same diameter as the tent so I'm guessing that helps along with being the 4200k bulbs from advanced tech.

Those 4200K should help keep stretch under control...

Unless of course you're growing....

Monsters.
