What's up guys? I started this thread to find guys who have experience with Nirvana shop strains. I've done lots of reading on various forums and I've seen mixed reviews on Nirvana.
Many posts I've read have to deal with poor germination rates or just unhealthy plants in general, yet Ive noticed that majority of the posts are dealing with first time novice growers.
Now my limited experience with Nirvana has been a good one. Quite good actually. I ordered a 5 pack of fem AK48 and received 10 free seeds along with the initial order. I decided to use the free seeds first. I made this decision because it's been awhile since my last grow and need to get in the swing of things. Out of the 10 freebies I chose 4 seeds to germinate. All 4 germinated in 24 hours. Putting them in soil, the 4 sprouted within another 24 hours. Definitely no germination problems here.
Now as for the health of the plant during veg and bloom? Some strong little Christmas trees, I can tell ya. Stinky and vigorous. Started to bloom as soon as they reached a foot tall (small grow space). Unfortunately 3 of the 4 were male and the 4th has yet to show so I am hoping it's a she. But I see no problem with genetics thus far.
So I can't help but think inexperience is what's leading to those negative posts. I believe Nirvana makes some decent genes for affordable prices and is well worth a try. So what do you guys think? What are your experiences? Please let me know.
