ok

the photo plants are going to be less work ........they do not feed as heavy as the autos

your auto plants ......when they go into flowering u are going to notice that the PPM is going to drop and the amount of water in the system will drop .......this makes the PH very unstable the more it feeds and drinks the more the system is going to need balancing ...........by the end of my monster plant i was doing it 4 to 6 times a day

i am assuming u are runing on a week time table ........dump out the water rinse out the buckets fill with water add feed ph put plant back in .......to get a auto to do well u are going to want to keep the feed high

so sometime during the week when u add water back into the bucks (day 3/4 in the week rotation) add in 1 gallons worth of feed back into the system to replace what was taken .....( u know what ever your feed plan is use 1 gallons worth of feed add it to the water u are putting in to replace what was used in the last 12/24 hours ) u will be happy u did ......if u want u can try doing it one and leave the other alone
Awesome. As I'm reading, I'm thinking back to my 1st grow, I'm realizing exactly where things went wrong n now that I know, I'm not gonna make the same mistake. I had left my auto alone during the flowering stage n figured I had a couple of days left. In a matter of 4 days, the res was bone dry n the plant was wiltered beyond belief. I do run them on a weekly based system, wash everything, n replace the water, n balance the ph. I haven't been using any nutes, because I believe I caused some serious chem burn in the beginning n I'm trying to get them back in good health b4 I reintro the nutes. Been flushing them out every 2-3 days. Hope this is helping them out n not causing more damage. Keep up the good grow!

Oh yea, the only part I hate is trimming it, I just had to trim 3 pounds, I really don't want to do that again. Currently making some slow simmer butter with all that trim, I had like 6 oz of trim.
Lol... Worst thing ever. Its hard to sit in one spot for hours dropping cuttings in a bucket while taking fat exciting dabs every 30 mins. A few hours in and i feel disoriented and cramped up

I see all these dudes who "love to trim", motherfucker try come to my house lol!

Did you buy an mh/ds?
I was, and still thinking about it. This run I decided to use the agromax bulbs to see what they could do. They are producing frost already.

I like how there are more companies in the cob game. They even have the diy kit now.

I figured I would run with this t5 just a little longer and wait for the price of cob to com on down. I'll just build a cob rig.
Some others things happened to recently. It puts me in the position that I may soon have more space in a better location to grow in. I figured wait and see what happens there.

For sure.

My indoor is no problem. I have outdoors to. I got a bad back. I can't sit in one spot for long. My legs burn and my feet sting from nerve damage. I just can't do it. It is easier for me to stand.

Those COBs are seriously lacking spectrum, if you do buy some COBs don't get rid of your t5, your gonna need it for the UV light , and I would also suggest finding a source of far red light.

I have some 12 volt red LEDs. I have no ideas of spectrum. They are red.

That's what I was thinking of building. A cob/ t5 hybrid.

That would be beast mode, add some of those agromax uv bulbs and maybe a flower initiator (produces all far red light) and your grow would be amazing for energy savings and tric production.

Nute burn is really bad for your plant, it shows there is root damage, if you pushing your plants that hard with bottled nutrients I would suggest you back off, you can obtain larger yields with less nutrients by keeping the plant in good health.

Thankx Yoda! I have a few plants, so I'm gonna apply different techs to see which would be the best. I appreciate your insight n input. Keep up the good grow n stay green!

i never see it ......when i cut the root balls open the plant is poking out the bottom of farbic bag ......i can not clear out all the roots in the fabric

i back the feed down by 10% wait a few days and then increase the plant takes it fine

hell my hydro i had the ppm in the upper 3000 4000 range

You are just wasting nutrients and money, 1500ppm is max I would run my hydro, anything more is just a waste of nutrients and possibly can harm the plant. I just harvested a one pound hydroponic plant that never got nutrients above 1500ppms.

for photos yes .....not for autos the genetics of them want to feed that heavy ......if it is offered to them they take

as for wasting anything .......i do not think so the ppm at the end of the week would be 1/3 or 1/2 of what the orginal went in att and that was with adding extra during the week

autos are not like photos they want the feed ........it is due to the genetics of the plant .......if it is kept at a high enough lvl u can trick the plant into growth for longer (i did it on that hydro ) i had to switch to a 12/12 timeing for a short period and change over the feed to heavy bloom

Ok, sorry, you are probably right, I never grow autos so I have no clue what their feeding requirements are.

try one man .........u will be shocked .........plus autos are great for tuning your feed skils

if the plant is off on something with the fast genetics it shows up 2/3 days .....u can figure it out and correct it see the responce with 4/5 days

i love autos they are the best plants to learn on .......when u are done everything from the feeding transfer over to photos with even better results due to the longer growth period

I don't really got time to grow autos I grow only elite clone only plants.
