Should i use organic or mineral fertilizer for my one month old plant? Whats the difference?
This is a trick question...Should i use organic or mineral fertilizer for my one month old plant? Whats the difference?
sort of an odd question, it'd be easier to answer if you were asking the difference between organic and salt based nutrients.Should i use organic or mineral fertilizer for my one month old plant? Whats the difference?
maybe: ' should I use organic(natural) fertilizers or cheap but just as effective artificial ferts...?'Should i use organic or mineral fertilizer for my one month old plant? Whats the difference?
again, you need to word that differently, and that's a HUGE can-o-worms there.I heard that for plant using mineral fertilizer is not as healthy as organic. Is that true?
pig shit...hmmm bet that works great!!! Using a cow/horse/chicken thing this year myself. But yeah k bet pig is just loaded!one is cheap and artificial the other natural
but not just natural but more akin to their method of root absorption
members have claimed everything from sparking joints
to electrical discharges on their teeth toking artificial feed weed
so I'm happy to smoke my pig shit sprayed weed any day ....lol
up on my mediafire account, right click ...save asOrganic soil needs to be mixed together and allowed to sit for awhile to compost a little. You need bacteria to form and start turning the organic materials into food. Many people think you can add beneficial bacteria to your mix and you are good to go, however, time and again my most demanding strain is falling short of making it through flower. Although I admit my easy to grow strains make it just fine using that method. I made the mistake of thinking I could research organic soil on the forums but eventually I had to start hitting books which is where I am at now. I will recommend a book "Teaming with Microbes" and you can search that book right here on riu to hear others talk about it.
Short answer. Use inert soil and synthetic fertilizers for now and make sure you have a way to flush the plants. i.e. build a rack and reservoir if you don't have a sink or equivalent to use.
Word wish I knew someone like you guys with all this great shit I'd be as happy as a hog in shit.Oh sooo u got the freah stuff huh??? Right on! Just moved 800 gallons of my "shit" to my holes today and still have sooo much left to do! Composted nicely for 4 yrs...its amaZing shit! 3000 gallons worth lol

i was thinking about using chicken shit too. We have chickens but im not sure how to make shit into a fertilizer. Can you help me out?pig shit...hmmm bet that works great!!! Using a cow/horse/chicken thing this year myself. But yeah k bet pig is just loaded!
It depends on how fresh poo is. Fresh chicken shit is very hot on the nitrogen side (keep that in mind or u will burn your plant). You can use fresher chicken shit though in a VERY THIN top dressing.i was thinking about using chicken shit too. We have chickens but im not sure how to make shit into a fertilizer. How long should i leave it on a pile of compost? It depends on how fresh poo is. Fresh chicken shit is very hot on the nitrogen side (keep that in mind or u will burn your plant). You can use fresher chicken shit though in a VERY THIN top dressing.
However it is better to compost it. Throw it in a pile and let it age.
You want to turn your pile often for proper break down.
Once it is aged and not hot anymore you can mix it right into your organic soil too. Just remember a little chicken poo goes a long way!
Any manure should be left for at least one year...tho two or more is better unless your adding a little to the top of your soil like I said. How long should i leave it on a pile of compost?
