I'm watching Sopranos for the first time. I give it a C+, which is probably good considering it started 17 years ago.
I watched the new Captain America earlier at the theaters after smoking a BHO dab. Was hard to follow along. No I'm winterizing my BHO cuz it came from Mexican Reggie and is hard on the lungs. See if it helps. I'm using acetone instead of alcohol so we'll see how that goes.

Saw it yesterday. Pretty good, needed some serious editing. Thing's almost 3 hours long. Spiderman was worse than Toby Maguire. ...

Yeah the spider man character was a little on the childish side. More like middle school than high school. And his aunt is hot though. Cougars can't go rong.

Hey, Heis! Good to see you around. Which season are you on? It gets better as it goes on, imo...
Hey Tyler, been a while! Glad to see you're still around. You see the Chief around anymore?, Chief talking shithole, or something.

I'm on the home stretch with Sopranos, 6x06. The first few seasons seemed to have many false starts to story lines. Like seeds for plot points that never came to be. It has gotten better, though I'm still not sure it deserved quite the hype it got back in the day. It's very well acted and well produced, but a little too familiar. I suppose it set the standard that influenced much of the shows I like today, but I feel like I've seen all the elements before.

You're right about plot points being introduced that didn't go anywhere, and there's nothing really new under the sun. In my mind it represents the genesis of Great TV, setting a new standard for what we expect. Hell, there are MANY shows that are better than most of the crap Hollywood spews out ;)

It's funny you mention the chief, I forgot about him and had to look him up. Check out his last post in December, it illustrates that all of our (@Padawanbater2, @cannabineer ) effort isn't always for nothing -

Long time no talk. How's everyone doing? Any old school posters still troopin it? I've been meaning to post this a long time ago but I've been too busy with other pointless nonsense... Not that this forum is nonsense. Quite the opposite. I owe a lot of people here not only an apology but a thank you. This forum greatly influenced my philosophical evolution and thank god those with greater minds than mine put my childish ass in my place. I see my formal self in middle aged men and it is cringe worthy. I applaud you guys for your patients. I still believe in half the stuff that you think is nonsense but I know it lies within philosophy and speculation rather than fact and knowledge, for now at least =p. I've become a lot less flakey and I put a lot more thought and skepticism into what ever information that comes my way and I have you guys to thank for that. So thank you Heis, Pad, Z, Tyler, and that witty retired chemist who's name I forgot and whoever might have put up with my immature bullshit. And no offence Jesus but you should probably wait 2000 more years before revealing yourself, this world just isn't ready. Jk, George, maybe wright a book and your fellow crazies will support you in making one of your more plausible ideas a reality, but even that is quite a stretch.

So yeah, just stopping by to see what's up. Maybe I'll stick around for a while. My other philosophical playgrounds have been quite dull and simple minded. I need people to keep me on my toes.

I totally agree that TV today is the place to go for quality cinema, while Hollywood seems to just pump out the same cookie-cutter crap season after season. I had the misfortune of seeing Ride Along 2 recently.

Good post from the Chief. Glad to see it wasn't a waste of time trying to get through to him. I forgot about George. I almost feel reluctant to mention that man's name too many times, least he show up and vomit his holy schizophrenic mindfuck all over us again.

I haven't seen George since I trolled him out of existence early 2015. I simply couldn't take it any longer. It was nice to see him leave, and he was cool enough to wave me goodbye...

His aunt was Marisa Tomei. Amazingly milfy. I think this is the first movie I've seen her in where she didn't get naked...

...And let's not ignore the 'olive tree' reference, although the details and significance of which escape me right now.

The point is, we should accept our place in the universe:

George
Fin
The rest of us.
