That's awesome. I'm actually expanding to a 10x10 space with the same number of buckets (6) although I went with larger 8 gal square buckets this time. Adding a couple more lights too. Gotta stay within the limits, but there are no restrictions on how big they can be ;)

I don't see how you can fit more in a smaller space. My last grow I flowered after 2 weeks veg, they were maybe 10" high and grew to 4ft from the top of the bucket.

Ya that's cool. If you love with your wife you can have 12 I thought? 6 per adult?

6 each with no more than half 'mature' so we can have 6 in veg and 6 in flower. I flower 6 and propagate/clone the other 6 to get them ready so I can run perpetually. I have some goji og and the fuzz on deck, but am going to run some sin mint clones next round in this system. Should be fun!

Ya I used 1 gal buckets. The lids were JUST RIGHT for the 6" net pots. I wanted to be able to veg without the roots tangling. So I couldn't think of a better way then to just make a smaller one.
Once I'm ready, the net pots come out and straight Inot the big setup

The small system? No not yet but I will be soon. I just have a hard time figuring out what to do. I think I'm just gonna get 9 fem seeds all different strains and breeders, and grow them all for a WHILE. Just take 2 clones off each on before I flip to flower. 9 in the bubble ez cloner and 9 in rapid rooters so I for sure get to keep the genetics I pay for

I just started the same process, cool. I put a couple rooted clones into a 6" pot (tonight actually) and they fit into a 1 gal container nicely. That's cool, I'm glad I'm on the right track! What strains you growing? (Been on a strain kick lately).

Edit: LOL, I see you answered my question about strains before I asked! That's fucked up.

I don't think anyone can argue with that list! I've thought about getting female seeds to run, but there's so much good gear out there, and so much to come if you are not limited, beans are cheap in comparison. At least I think so. I always end up with reg seeds cause the strains I want are usually in reg form. If you are going to clone anyway, I just grow them up until I can take a small clone from them, then put those clones into 12/12 right away and see which are male and female. Then cull the males if you want, and clone from the females. Also gives you the opportunity to chuck some pollen and make some winners, especially if you plan on keeping those around for awhile. I've noticed when I'm half way through a grow I can't wait for the next strain to come along. Check out bodhi. His stuff looks really good.

My only problem with regs is just that. The time wasted finding females. And not only that, why spend $100 on ONE STRAIN when you could get all the ones I posted for $120 and have 9 guarantees girls.
Cloning is TOO EASY. so I don't see a need to buy more than one. Sure there are better phenos and winners out there, but all the seeds came from the same mom and in my mind will be just as dank.

I'm an H2o2 guy personally. As for roots being colored, flora trio series dyes them brownish from the FloraMicro.

We got 12 flower 12 veg here in RI with 2.5oz every 2 weeks.

By that logic I could hold enough for 4 months no? If im allowed 2.5oz every 2 weeks and the life cycle of a plant is 4 months....21.65oz

Kind of stupid TBH. Encourages people to blast. Which is a felony.

The laws are the way they are specifically to give the cops more latitude to fuck with people. Nothing more than that.

I just dont like the idea of having bulbs just hanging there.

Once I get a split and co2 and that 860w allstart ill be pulling 3lbs off a 5x5.

Pulled 8oz off a 2x2 under a 600w HPS. I can fit 4 2x2s under a 600w. Thats 2lbs off a 600w. 1.5gpw.

After this next grow (prob around fall) im going to gut the room and have someone install a split with low ambient condenser. Build the bathroom downstairs and get it inspected while the basement is empty.

I dont like the idea of calling in a stranger to install inside a growroom. Whose sayig that stranger wont come back and walk away with over 10k in bud and equipment.

Also not a retard stoner who thinks a split system install warrants a $1k payday for 4 hours of labor. If I had a nitrogen pump and a vac pump id do it myself. Units come precharged. Flare your liquid and suction lines, route your condensate lines. Tighten the nuts down and leak test to 200PSI with nitrogen see if it holds. Ifnit does purge the lines and connect to condenser and release the refrigerant.

Double post from my journal since they are done...

Chopped the hydro tent yesterday after 69 days flower. Flushed with ro water for 2 weeks. Day 56-69. Took 1 week for them to even show any deficiencies. I scoped the trics forever, literally watching them develop from stalk to head, from clear to cloudy and amber. In the past I didn't have the patience to wait this long, but I hate trimming, and there is plenty in stock. It took me 10 hrs. Did I say I hate trimming? Should be 1.5 - 2 lbs all said and done. I really want to press some hash. Old school type. The kind I got when I live in Germany in high school. Overall, I would say it was super easy as far as the hydro system goes. Pretty automated now. I got some larger square buckets for the next round of Sin Mint. Goji Og and The Fuzz are doing very well, in their 1 gal pots, loving life. On the hunt for the next strain as always. Thanks for watching!

I'll post a few finished pics when they are dried.
