Depending on the stage your plants are in (and if you can read them).....8 to 12 ml of Canna Coco a&b is PLENTY fo most growers with average growrooms.

This grow is my first one with Canna and I'm having significant N tox problems.

Have you had any issues with Canna and N tox?

Also, I've never gone above 1100 ppm total solution!
Dude....back off your nutrients. Get meters if you dont already. I top out most strains at 1.6 or 1.7 EC. Your growing in coco. Your fukin up your plants running an EC of 2.0 or higher. Them nute levels arw only for very exp growers who know thier strains very well and have very high performance growrooms with all the fancy gadgets.

91,
hey bud I am going to be running canna and canna nutes for the first time, have run coco for a few yrs now, I am running a 400W vertical grow DTW, and using drip.
Starting with low nute is a given but what about multi daily waterings. How should I adjust the nutes? Would it be setting your goal EC or ppm then dividing that by the total number of waterings per day?
I am thinking of running low nute rates the entire grow, ex. 1.2 or 250 to 300 ppm per feeding @ 3 times per day. That would be during major veg.
Just want to get this figured out soon. If you can point me to a grow guide or journal that uses this method, that would be great.
Thanks
GR

Dont divide anything. Do you own a meter? What brand? What about pH? How do you read that? How long have you been growing in coco coir? How did you feed them before?

thanks for the response.

Extect pH 100 meter
Primo ppm meter
Use them for any fert mixing.

3+ yrs, started with 75/25 mix with perlite, then switched to growstones. This was in coco hempys, hand water/nutes daily. Tried to keep it around 6 to 700 ppm in bloom, pH of 5.8.
Have grown overall, off and on for 40 yrs, more off than on but would grow when I could.

I use H3ad's modified Lucas for coco, but I found his ratios to strong so I reduced it by a third. Was using GH Flora series, Micro and Bloom.

Yeah. Use canna coco nutrient at 400 to 550 ppm for fully rooted but very young clones. As they mature you up the ppm. Topping out at about 800 or 850 in full flower. This is all relevant to your strain your growing anf the water your using. The temps and humidity plays a role in how and what you feed them.....big time. Ph everything to 5.8 to 6.2. Use just the base nutrient for first run. Use 2 or 3 gallon pots of coco coir.

We need to start using EC as our only concentration measurement on these forums IMHO. Since PPM can be calculated using 3 different scales (0.5, 0.64, 0.7) PPM references get really confusing.

I run canna in coco in week 7 right now at 2800 ppms on 700 scale.....no burn and this room has 9 strains

This is old news. I dont mess with anything except the 500 scale and ec. The correlation between these is easy. Most growers here use 500 and or plain ec.

Afghan king....congratulations. You are the exception. Most growers should not pass 1.9 ec when growing in coco coir until they gpt a shit load of light and running a sealed room blasting with co2 and perfect canopy temps amd humidity..

Follow the canna nutrient calculator from there website and you should be good to go.
