Gotcha. Yeah I wanted the lenses that weren't quite as wide.
I opted for the 78mm Lenses.
Kingbrite doesn't seem to have their shit together at the moment.
I have sent 2 emails to their Sales email address with no response over a weeks time.
 
I placed an order with Jerry and received in 6 days.

I'm having difficulty lining up the 50-2300AN with the 50-2303CR.

If I add a little pressure, the adapter will "slip & fit" into place, but it hardly seems designed for this.

Are the 50-2300AN not designed for use with the 50-2303CR, or can someone link me to a datasheet please?

*edit: disregard, I rotated the thing 90*... holes lineup with some other holes.

Apparently you have to email Jerry Meng, and then someone else will respond and help. I'm now placing an order as I type.
 
I think I'm going to tape the insides of my angelinas off and spray paint the outsides totally black. I've got rustoleum plastic brand matte black spray paint. I think it'll help keep more light inside the reflector because you can definitely see they're translucent.
Do you think this is a good idea?
 
It won't keep more light inside the reflector. The reflector will just heat up a little bit more, thats all.
White and glossy spray paint would be better imo. But is it even worth the effort? We are probably talking here about less than 1% of the emitted light.
 
So you don't think there's any advantage to even painting the outside white? I wouldnt touch the insides at all where the lights reflecting off of. Just the outer side.
 
Wonder what the light readings might be on backside of reflector. At first thought here though is the manufacturer might know what they are doing. It do't take much light to produce a defused glow like a glow stick.

I don't think white paint would hurt but you would be reflecting the defused light right back through the thickness of the reflector, defusing that energy once again. Painting the walls titanium white would probably be better.

So in effect to that, what about painting the insides and not the outsides a very bright glossy white?

I'm not totally sure how to test what/how much is passing through accurately. This data won't allow for calculations that would be valid imo...but can give an idea. Defiantly seems likely to match with the stated efficiency if there was a way to test it...seems like a job for a sphere and some modifications. Out of my league.

85 was the highest reading I could get and it was point blank. As soon as you pull off it gets to near nothing. But what is just on the other side is not even measurable It's so high(3000+umols).

I've read my posts from April and think what kind of fool wrote this shit. I do remember that list now. Wonderful to have such light sources whether lenses, reflectors or bare. Spectrum, efficiency and intensity all in one. Boom! Boom! Boom!

Using quality LEDs is just so much fun!
