Shit man, I couldn't imagine feeding all those beasts! They are the sweetest animals though
Boxes are done.(ish) I'm going to close in the outside of the pallets and use them to do some companion planting with some herbs and whatnot. Also a few more aesthetic touches, but mostly done.
I still have to build the support for the canopy, but I think I'm going to get the top cover (costlesstarps.com - Shout out to @doublejj for the recommendation) and the bug nets this weekend. Then wrap with some chainlink fence and we're done.
*You can see the fence and the canopy frame in the backgrounds
We have, in the neighborhood of, 550 to 600 gallons of soil or around 85 cu ft per box.
mixed in with our very red garden dirt.....
Dr. Earth's LIFE 5-5-5
Soil Cycle organic (really like the mix in here)
Hella grass clippings
some compost from our bin
shit ton of perilite
Credit where credit is due. I'm hoping once it's all said and done..... it should look like @nuggs garden had a baby with one of @doublejj carport grows.

so much hard work!
That's the hope my man. I don't want to have to moderate my medicine throughout the year. @calla_lily plans to make some medicated soaps and other goodies so we're trying to get the biggest harvest possible while trying to keep our grow as close to "legal" as we can.Boxes like that will produce enough smoke for the whole town...Harvest Moon Ranch
That's a real cool Hive. We want to start keeping bees, maybe next year, and that would be an awesome addition to the gardengreat thread and huge boxes. An easy Honey hive:
Nice workmanship. I used to do a lot of woodwork using red cedar. My Dad and I built all the kitchen cabinets in their house out of it. We took some {of our logs} to the sawmill, and had the sawmill come to us a couple of times too. I've often thought of picking up a used sawmill, but I don't have time to use 3/4 of the crap I have now.Same red cedar for my "floating" bed frame....really wish I didn't have to leave this in OH.
Thanks @larry. I've never seen a full kitchen done with it. I bet that looked awesome. How much did it run you to have the sawmill come to you? I'm a ways off from being able to afford one of my own, but I'd love to clear out a bunch of trees and get some lumber at the same time.Nice workmanship. It's been too long for me to remember what a bf cost. But a good source of info is The Forestry Forum. {it's like the RIU of the tree business} I'm sure there is a sawyer in your area. http://www.forestryforum.com/board/index.phpThanks @larry.
