It was a runt that unfortunately got the brunt of the damage from mites because they attempted to hide in an area around her and being so small, she really didn't have a chance. It's a mystery bean from a fellow grower and honestly, after growing out the others, I'm not impressed, but wanted to see how much she'd yield for hash.

It's sand mixed in with my soil. Had a gnat outbreak as well. That's one of the few pots left with sand. Got the gnats under control now so no need for it. The apple cider vinegar mixed with soap has taken care of the adults.

good reminder on the sand. i also need to spread around some fresh sticky cards to identify if gnats or anything are gettin a foothold.
this will be the time of the year, when i nxt repot any just rooted lil ones and add a layer of fine play sand to the top. makes a barrier from any fungus gnats.
