Not sure on pulling heads they may pop first I would think not sure. As for yield fluctuations with same material is due to packing and grinding I believe.

Same here dude ugh because I googled how to change my oil and the guys oil was way cleaner than mine lol, but gosh I got a 7 cfm pump and pull a vac 3-5 minutes on my tube after its frozen right before I blast so it probably pulls stuff out Like dry ice kief or something man... Fml I'm gonna try an open blast run with my system fuck it

Open blast is the way I've been going and I'm happy with yeild and product. Try it out and compare good luck man

open blast on a lasrge scale is no good ......the amount of tane u go tho for say a LB of oil just increases the cost
u got to run the numbers .......small personal use yah open blast is the way to go
but processing 6 lbs of weed .....and getting a better product using the dewaxxing collum with the ball valve for a 10 min soak .....plus the fact u can put the oil chamber under negivitve pressure leave it on a hot plate for 10 hours on 110 u come back some heat stablized stuff .....work it down longer for shatter or whip it to make wax but u are done
passive closed loop system works good .......2 4 lbs ......but is u are doing more a active closed loop system is going to time saver and money saver on dry ic
dry ice is the killer of passive for large amounts i went tho 140 lbs

Damn that's a lot of dry ice. I hear ya man and I agree if one was doing large runs lbs ups open blast would be a pain in the ass as for me all I blast is 2 zips at a time for my head

that is what i was doing before to supply a few ppl 100 gram glass tube
yah dry ice goes fast and does not keep to well over night in 80 degree weather
it took 10 lbs of ice just to get the denatured alch temp for the first round of blasting in the morning .......after that about 10 lbs every 2 hours to keep at temp more if u are rushing it

I would love to get into running closed loop system but honestly I wouldn't know where to start with one of those apparatuses I would have to watch and learn the process from a pro. Last thing I want is to go kaboom.

naw it is pretty simple ........it is matter of repeating simple steps
hook this line to this spot turn this and wait 20 mins kind of stuff
if u get a smaller system it is less work then what i was doing .......i was working with 1lb systems but really it was only like 10 oz but i was only tap packing not really forcing it in

Can you recommend a walk through video and small system. All I do is for personal use so qp half P system would be ideal.

it all depends on the system u go
worst case i can walk u tho it .....it is pretty simple just matter of thinking
pick a system u like and i will walk u tho the steps of running it
just rem u need the extraction system .....vacuum pump ....hoses (yes more then one makes it work better 2 minimal ) ....good butane ....5 power and 7 power is shit u really want N butane that way the oil is food grade /e vape grade (can get a tank of 25 lbs for 240 bucks lab grade n butane .......1 box of 300mls cans is just shy of 1 gallon of gas the math works out better with large tank)
after that it gets simple
denatured alch
dry ice
bucket
2 inch putty knife and bunch of razors
pic cooktop
silicon tray or mat
brass money wrench for 1/4 in compression fitting

as long as it is ground (transport) ........your good
the sellers have to have the permits and package it according to the rules but they can send it out using UPS or FED-EX......ground only so give yourself some time to get it to u before u plan to do the run
i got mine from the best value vac ppl 99.9995% pure n butane

Shit I already have an account with best value vacs. Got my silicone heat pad from them didn't know they sold butane as well. Thanks a lot for the info I appreciate the help. I'm gonna take you up on your offer once I find and purchase the equipment.

if u look at what they are showing u the bottom part has no real way of getting the oil out .........u will be scraping ......looking at that one in the pic look the recover chamber is the same as the gas chamber ..........it is poor design
my father use to work alot of construction jobs ........i know about steel quality of parts over seas (i do not trust pakistan or china or india steel )
